NetSuite Stores

We are in the early stages of implementation and have a question. Is it possible to set up a franchise store under a different subsidiary and NOT have intercompany transactions between the subsidiaries? Meaning one of the subsidiary is a manufacturer and sells to these franchisee stores. We don't want to have intercompany transactions. We would want the stores to login to NetSuite and view only their financials.
