Remember Me checkbox in NetSuite Login Page (Desktop)

Hi NetSuite Experts,

A user in our account tried to login with Remember Me checkbox checked in Desktop (Browser is Chrome) but it seems that NetSuite doesn't remember the username and password of the user.

Please note that the preference to delete all data upon closing of browser is not enabled to the user (already asked that).

I just want to have a clarity on this if that functionality is really working since I cannot find any documentation related to that in SuiteAnswers.
