Tracking Changes on Manufacturing Routing When System Notes Not Available
We’ve noticed that modifications made to routings do not appear under the System Notes tab or are not visible via Saved Search on the System Notes table.
We’d like to track who changed what, when, and what the old/new values are, especially for audit/regulatory requirements.
Are there any configuration settings (feature toggles, permission settings, script logging settings) that enable or enhance System Notes logging for Manufacturing Routing?
What are recommended workarounds or audit best practices to ensure full traceability of routing changes? For example: custom record + user event script, scheduled snapshot via Saved Search, etc.
If you have successfully tracked routing changes, what approach did you use (script, workflow, external snapshot, third-party tool)?
