Add Custom Field to Cross Charge Journal Entry

Is there any way to add a custom field to a Cross Charge Journal Entry?

Currently, there is no way to get the related record of a Cross Charge Journal Entry in Saved Search. On top of that, we cannot even attach a User Event script to it. We need access to the related (released) record. I was considering saving the document number on a body field, but I couldn’t find any way to create a custom field for this record type. can we even edit cross charge record?
