Can you help me understand the Page Time Summary?

Hi all,

I'm trying to investigate why our Sales Orders are taking so long to Save

I don't understand what the values on these pages mean.

  1. What is the NetSuite System time caused by? This seems to be the most common large time sink on my record saves.
  2. I then investigate the details of one of the saves.

Why there all these gaps in saving the record? It just looks like empty space where the system isn't doing anything. Is there a way to reduce this and whatever the NetSuite system time is?

Here's one more example where the scripts only took 12 seconds but the save took over 50 second in total due to all the empty spaces! I'm guessing it's not a coincidence that the SHAPE of the graphs look identical, is this after script processing time or something? 🤔
