1.Fixed Assets Module_ asset identification Case

We are a project-based company in the minerals sector with diversified business interests, currently migrating from a legacy ERP to Oracle NetSuite. While NetSuite was recommended by our ERP consultants after requirement analysis, we are now being advised that multiple requirements may need customization.

I am looking for expert clarification from the NetSuite community on some fundamental standard capabilities of NetSuite to help us make informed decisions

1.1}The  Fixed Assets module hasbeen proposed for implementation across all group companies. In this regard, please clarify whether the following are available as standard features or require configuration/customization:

(a) Asset Identification: Where there are many subsidiaries in the group, can Asset IDs be auto-generated/maintained on a company-wise basis, with independent numbering sequences for each legal entity? If separate sequencing is not supported, is it possible to implement company-specific prefixes?
