I also had a similar need (although not 30K). I submitted a ticket and they gave me a really good solution, which I include below. A. Using Mass Update, set first the contact records' Global Subscription Status to Soft Opt-In to allow the system to change the Subscription Categories during the CSV import. Note that the…

The link I see is still to the old 2.0 client. How do we access the new one?
-
Many, many times it hung Outlook. It wouldn't even uninstall properly. I've given up, and haven't bothered to try to contact support, because the nature of the problem makes it unlikely to get resolved without a huge time investment on my part.

The Outlook 2010 client is a disaster. It hung outlook so often I had to uninstall, and it wouldn't even uninstall properly. Let me know when 3.0 comes out. :h_a_w:

Definitely you can't remove the account if there are existing transactions, because income accounts must be consistent for all transactions for an item and existing transactions must have an account. Thanks, -e Even if I create a brand new item, in my production system I was not allowed to leave the accounts blank and,…

Steve, I'm not sure about resolving problems with existing transactions, but I have used the following technique for some time very successfully: [LIST=1] [*]Create a custom Item form (may need one for each type of Item) that removes most of the data you normally enter for an Item.[LIST] [*]Basically all you want to enter…

Did you ever get a response to this?

I guess that would kind of work, I had been thinking about that. I'd have to pick an item, though, which seems like a bit of a hassle, and then change the price and description, which I would have to add anyway. I think I'll give it a try.

Yes, I see that, but we need to purchase things we expense and it would be nice to be able to specify the quantity and the rate, just like the items subtab. For example, if I want to buy 2 computers for employees to use at their desk, that's not inventory, but I'd like to be able to enter quantity 2, rate $1,000, and…

I agree, this is an issue in all cases where there is a drop-down that is sorted by ID and not alphabetically, e.g., when finding a customer after creating a new sales order. These drop-down boxes should have the ability to sort by any field in the record, but at least the name.

It seems on the the Expense Report, I can not make the Custom Line Number Field sit to the left of Date (first position in the column). Anyone know a way to force this? I want it to be: My Custom Line Number Field, Date, Category, whatever, whatever.... I think you need to make a custom form and rearrange how you want the…

I use a custom form, but can't get the field on the form in view\edit mode to be to the left of date. It shows on the customization screen to be in the correct position, but not on the form. Thanks though You're right, I see the same thing on expense reports, the date is immovable. Definitely seems like a bug. I cannot…

I'd like to know this as well.

Typically I fulfill the sales order, which creates a fulfillment record. If you print the fulfillment record, that is the packing slip. If you want to bulk print you could use this method from the online help, but I've never used it. James

You're right. Instead of sourcing, try setting the default value (formula) to {shipphone} or {billphone}. Thanks, -e Evan, Although this puts the phone number on the fulfillment record, when I try to print it, the field is blank on the packing slip. It seems that, for some reason, since you're using the default and you're…

I'm curious as to whether anything has changed, i.e., can I get the phone from the shipping address on either the fulfillment record or sales order to print on the packing slip? Thanks.

Yes, the "one-time" fee is $1,000! For only 4 users! Seems outrageous.
