You ought to check this out on your site...you are getting the "secured/non-secure" error message when you try to access the part of NetSuite that is outside of your domain name...such as registration, sign-in, shopping bag & checkout... NetSuite/Chris: Can you comment on how to fix this???

Yes we could use this functionality. We have had to drop several kits when one of the components became a matrix item. Thus a great up sell opportunity squandered.

We do something similar...all we did was add it to the sales order form(s). Go to the Custom Transaction Forms > select the form > go to the Printing Field tab > go to the Body tab > check box to "Print/Email" field... These steps may be abbreviated but you can test this fairly easily...

The field is included in the sales order and the cash sale/invoice form as well. We also have it on the purchase order for our purposes. When you approve the sales order and bill it, the email includes the fields. I don't think you can include it on the fulfillment email but maybe it's not necessary if you can get it on…

I have tried this suggestion to no avail. There has got to be an easy way to do this dynamically instead of hard coding with custom fields... Would be worth a couple of cold beers for a solution O:)

Would the custom field be automatically updated whenever the price changes?

Rob: I have now determined the problem lies in the formatting of the prices. Upon viewing the source of the page, the values for x and y are correct but are formatted such $1,200.00. When trying to subtract the values is where the error is occuring. Any suggestions?

Sorry it took a few days to get back to this... I tried the suggestion to no avail...same problem... In reviewing the page source, my variable end up with $ and . points which are causing the problem. I had a suggestion to strip them out but I don't have a clue on how to do that! Any suggestions???
