I am having this problem. There are a couple of old threads about this. Has this been cleared up? I just did a huge CSV import to get the account started. That works, but I am unable to manually create any new items.

Problem solved: you simply re-save the item whose price will no longer show correctly. Go into edit mode, add a 1 to the end of the item name, save, go back in and remove the 1 and save again.
