Pretty standard functionality on a lot of cheap/free shopping carts. Upsell offers based on what's in your cart (and even based on items _other shoppers_ have purchased in combination with the items currently in the customer's cart). Joe

Hi, Evan-- To be honest, I'm not entirely sure. Most are test orders from when I was setting up the system. I think I just hit "close" in the standard (not edit) view. More recently someone cancelled their order by email before finishing their paypal payment, so I'm pretty sure I hit "close" on that one, too. It doesn't…

Our problem with using the category/dense list alternative is that this changes the sorting order within the parent category (all categories show above all products). Our hack is to have a "non-inventory" item that acts as the main item people navigate to, and then that page contains a list of links to purchase the item in…

Wait a second... All the URLs to our items are going to change in v.11?? /s.nl/sc.11/category.191/it.A/id.130/.f to /s.nl/it.A/id.3568/.f?sc=12&category=81 Is this really, really true? Joe

Thanks for those insights, DJ. We never had the c#### business but I was concerned because I've hard-coded a bunch of links to product pages within other product descriptions (due to the lack of functionality in NSSB). As long as things redirect I'm okay with it... Thanks, Joe

Thanks, Tom. If the URLs will redirect then I don't have to freak out as much as I thought. Still... Joe

This will be good. These KPIs will measure completely different problems/issues. I had thought the cart abandonment report started from the time someone hit "checkout" because of the way our numbers increased immediately after I set the system to require registration rather than allowing guests to check out anonymously…

We have this behavior, too. Paypal orders never say anything but "pending authorization" no matter what we do. They don't show up in the "fulfill orders" screen, so we have to go fulfill each order one-by-one. Joe

Certain characters -- like "[" -- will force a shipping option to the bottom of the list. Only works for ones you name yourself. Joe

Yes, it would be great to have a "surcharge" field available on a per product basis to account for particularly heavy or large items. Many webstores and catalogs have this. It's pretty basic functionality for an ecommerce operation. Joe

This would be important to us, too. For example, we operate with a "flat rate shipping" charge as our default shipping method, but we have free shipping options for two special circumstances--people who are local and will pick up from the warehouse and people who order one specific item from the site that we sell with free…

So do coupons require the full Netsuite product, too? Joe

Thanks for that info, Mini. Problems, though... I tried to turn on the promotion codes. Seemed to work, but when I went to marketing >> promotion codes I got this message: "The feature 'SFA' required to access this page is not enabled in this account." I assume that's the "sales force automation" module? I'm hoping this is…

We just had a customer call with the same problem. The continue button doesn't work for him. Using a mac, not sure which operating system #. Hmm. Frustrating. Joe
