KB, Regarding the 'fulfillment' of services items, I'm trying to fulfill a sales order via "billable hours". If you fulfill a sales order with a service item that is located on the "items" tab, the Sales Order will be decremented, and you can see the remaining balance on the "Open Orders" report. gfisher, I have a services company, with "service for sale/resale Items" and would like to pay based on Gross Profit (alternate sales amount). How have you gone about calculating your commissions? Thanks.

I doubt if a invoice profitablity report will be coming anytime soon. It would need to take into account costing algorithms such as FIFO, LIFO and also be able to do it on non-inventory items. Perhaps use the job functionality to achieve - whereby each batch of invoices or one invoice for that matter is essentially a job…

Revenues somehow get recorded at the Parent-Client level, while expenses are recorded at the child-Project level. Total profitability for the customer/client…
