Have you used the sublist TAB on the record. Maybe create a saved search for the custom record, and then add this as a list record on your main form? I'm no custom-guru though, but I'll help if I can.

Hi Ellen, During our recent implementation we had to set up roles for 2,000 users. Netsuite did this for us via a webservices script. In our instance it was based on a csv file we had prepared, I guess it would not be too much more to update based on lookup of another field. I like the concept of what you are talking about…

Not if you've got 22 roles each with locked down access, and you need them all to access employees. It's a nightmare waiting to happen for us.

Ravi - have you tried putting in multiple fields with names like date1,date2, date3, etc. Then you can amend the "label" of the form in which these are placed to be the same. I must admit I've never tried it, but it might be worth a go.

I agree. I am looking into this area closely at the moment and this is an ideal report that could sit on a users dahsboard to tell them who is not doing what they are supposed to in Netsuite. ..andy

Who fancies updating huge amounts of code then!! The fact that Netsuite have the ability to kill entire systems is simply amazing.
