I'm in the process for putting one together for one of our customers. Just like everything else in NS, it's too rigid and austere. The fonts are too small and how do you create center tabs with drop downs and such? You can't create center type b/c that's locked out. Just like everything in NS, it will require hours of…

But can't any field be restricted from view on the employee record, like SS #, payroll, checks, sexual persuasion, etc...?
-
That's right--I've forget--thanks a million.

Formula (Numeric)is 1case when {lastmodified} != {datecreated} then 1 else 0 end All time records get modified (they get approved, get a paid date, etc.) so the above formula doesn't discern much. Yes Jeff, we can't specify what was modified, which is the whole point of the saved search.
-
Then a formula in a saved search: Last Modified date does not equal Date Created? I'll see if I can do that.
-
Thanks for your post, but I can't get this to work. When I load an employee record I get an unexpected error message. I select the saved search "total employee hours" (employee record search) from the drop down in the custom field and do everything that is explained in the help section and it still throws an UE. Try is…

uggghhhhh!!!!! I used the Standard Service Invoice and mapped price level to "custom" (only option) and now it wants an amount!!!! --which should be the price level I set for that frickn customer!
-
I'm also trying to use CSV Import to create invoices, but I don't see a way to choose the customer's price level for the particular item. What's up? (see screen shot)
-
If you're talking about amount, it wants a number. All I see there is : Description Item (Req) Job Order Line
-
It worked! Thanks. Strangely, it doesn't work with a customized invoice form, even if that customized invoice form has price level showing.
-
That's great but I would prefer the long answer--detailed technical guidance, like when you filter by department in the income statement what is actually happening, and how departments are used in all records that use it.
-
No, it still stands--one customer can have multiple projects but not the other way around.
-
Our accounting person is experiencing the same thing--did you find a solution?
-
I had the same problem. Getting "This record cannot be deleted, because it is referred to by other records." I removed any audience from it and then was able to delete it.
-
Along similar lines, our company recreates customer records to be able to bill customers under new contracts (we do a lot of government contracts). So when the contract changes, our accounting deparment recreates multiple customer records so they hange projects/jobs and/or child customers off of it it. This allows them to…

I'm inquiring about the same thing, to find a way to take a somone off my prospect list
-
It's not that important that I would create custom formula fields. I'll wait till the defect is corrected.
-
I have a similar issue--when a customer replies to a WF-generated email sometimes the sender never gets the reply. The customer replies to messages.650170.854407.ba26806447@me...net suite.com and sometimes the sender never gets the reply. This is…

OpeningTime is a time. Result when I use your formula: Error: on line 20, colurnn 15 in content. The string doesn't match the expected date/time format. The string to parse was: "". The expected forrnat was: "h:mrn:ss a".
-
I know these--they're in the link I posted. When I use one I get error messages (see attached).
-
BTW, where do you go to read about Issue 322006? I've been an NS admin for over 4 years and still find it difficult to access this list--is it purposefully hidden?
-
Thanks, but I get many many emails from netstuite.com. Well if that's the only way, I guess I'll have to live with it.
-
Thanks. I think I'll change it, send the email and then change it back. This doesn't happen very often.
-
You can't escape from your own shadow so to speak: whatever email address you put in the "set preferences," if the the recipient of the email clicks "reply," it comes to you.
-
create a NS "Group" for your intended audience, buy a subscription to Adobe Creative Cloud for $30 a month and fire up Dreamweaver to create your newsletter, host it somewhere--either with NS or on a page of your website, then use NS mail merge to send it out.
-
Use the preview button in the email merge window to see what it will pick up. I would like to merge "Job" or "Project" specifics in emails to customers but you can't.
-
With Acrobat and OTR any pdf can be edited.

I had to uncover this same mystery. Per NS support: Please refer to SuiteAnswers and look up "Permission Documentation" for a list of permissions for Letters. If you have downloaded the Permission Documentation you can search on the "Letter Template" Permission. The Letter Messages and Letter Template Permission controls…

Once again, I tried to create a letter that merges fields from the project record, as I thought that something may have changed, but nothing has changed, you can't mail merge fields from the project record into a letter, standard or custom fields. And "project" is on the drop down list of record types--what sense does that…

I've got EM alets and scheduled EM's going right now off of several saved searches and I use an excel spreadsheet to track them (when started, recipients, comments, etc.) I also can't get one to work where an email alert goes it notifying a staff member when an account drops below $25. I used the <25 in the "When New Value…
