On a similar tone, I want to include a "Add to your Google calender" link on certain emails going out to non-NS users. Tried this (an event in NS) but it's not working. Google wants the date in GMT and I don't know how: '<a class=…

You may want to put the condition "is not null" for both fields--sometimes silly stuff like that makes a difference.
-
I found out that I can do that with Return User Error in SuiteFlow
-
We're a language school that charges a rate/hour and we send the PO with a "paid" stamp on it.

I have a sublist in that subtab with ID, Credit Card Number, Expiration Date, Cardholder Name, Credit Card Type, Customer Code, Memo, Default Credit Card. I guess you could go to the Custumer Deposit record, choose a field and check "show in list" to appear there? (To understand how these records and forms are organized…
-
I figured it out: you schedule the emails on the Events sublist, designating which group gets what email, when.
-
Thanks
-
Actually, Subscription Categories is not enabled.
-
soft opt out, which is strange, because the customer record it's sourced from is soft opt in (this was 1 record in the group of about 40 I checked)
-
Can you give me an idea of what you're talking about? Would this be a NS online form?
-
Followup: I still have a need for employees w/o NS accounts to register for an event in NS (add themselves to the attendee list). Anybody know how to do this? You can't use Workflow to do this. Mass importing would be impractical. I don't want to use Eventbrite b/c all the events are internal.
-
After some finagling, I got it to work. I guess you don't need to pick a field in the Custom Sublist page on the end to make a join.
-
Great. Sharing your calendar with others was the trick. Thanks so much.
-
Thanks for your reply. "you want to be able to add Attendee that are not Full NS users to events to events" : -we can, that's not the issue, the issue is having Full NS users add attendees to events they're not the owner and/or organizer "..track who has or has not attended certain seminars" -we can, with the attendee list…

Having same issues with Lot number tracking. Our esteemed reseller/consultants created customization with this and now we're trying to downsize our account and trying to remove this feature and can't b/c the Lot Numbered items created for this need to be deleted. In order to delete them, you have to first delete the…

Experienced essentially the same issue when trying to turn off Lot Tracking.

Thanks for the quick respone, but I can't find the inventory "transfer" on my NS screen or the administrator's???

Thank you!!!

Thanks for the insight, but 'IW' works better.

So I've taken most of the SS email alerts, disabled them, and created them in one Workflow, which I call "important changes ...." I compare the old value with the new, and if they're different, the email goes out. In order to show the before value in the email, you need to create a WF State field and capture it.
-
No, actually when there are changes in fields in the project record
-
AHHHHHAAHHHAHHH Corey! Job security in the digital age. Anyway, so trigger types on WF's and suitescripts affect SS email sends when records are created/updated? What's next, the moon's phase affects the rise of my souffle? No really, I don't get the correlation.
-
Yes, other users as well. This diminishes my statue as NS Guru in the office-see.
-
All my SS's that have "Send Alerts When Records are Created/Updated" checked send duplicate emails, whether the update is on any standard or a custom field. This is definitely a bug that I'm surprised more people haven't complained about.
-
In regards to emailing from a WF vs. SS, the former doesn't support SQL expressions like the latter does. Also, SS are best to send emails when changes are made to particular fields--I don't think that's even possible in WF (or at least much more complex). Update: Well, I just used a date format expression in WF and it…

OK, how about the last time entry for a project??? Is it simply: max(to_char (substr({time.datecreated}1,4000)))keep(dense_r ank last order by {time.datecreated})
-
Don't want to/can't use transactions> employee>approve time?
-
The EM alert returned nothing when the field was NULL and this when it did contain times?: Monday: 10/1/2011 to 10/1/2011
-
I tried, but I don't think you can create one EM group of customers and their contacts (though you can make one made up of customers and their subcustomers).
