yoatny - i like your idea! I would love to do the same thing, basically blocking the header account of sub accounts from having transaction record on.

Make sure you have installed the advanced promotion bundle and that you also installed the plugg-ings for the advanced promotion. If you have any other question related to promotion you should just watch the video on that it is highly useful!

all sounds good, the only downside is that when you use sales order for samplew you can't dedicate an account for samples. it basically flows out of COGS and disturb the gross margin
