Hey K - unsure I can answer your thread, but are you looking at all the journals created by the system, as in some cases JE's are created as part of rev rec and the system doesnt identify if they are system ones or not guess my question is you are really clear on rev rec and deferred revenue within that ? we are doing lots…

Hi Amy - yeah, been playing around with this one. We are on OneWorld and if you drop a legal entity here or there it gets hard removing old stuff. Thanks K! When setting report filters sing report builder, the inactivated stuff still shows up - any idea how to stop this ? I don't want my users seeing inactivated departments etc popup when setting filters....maybe this is a better way of asking the question... !! Thx, Jamie

Hi all - GL numbering is only available as a task in the Close Task list after it is enabled in 'enable features' if you set the numbering method as quarterly then the task will run at the end of each quarter. You wont see the task appearing in the Close Task list until you have enabled it.

look in cetup > enable features and see if you can find Job Costing, it ties in with Project Management, and is a tab on the standard Project Form. Works great but you need to setup a lot of other areas..posting time etc is key

auto-elims is covered under automated intercompany management - but read up on it, you are getting into heavier stuff with this topic

if u have oneworld (presume yes) then allow intercompany time & expenses, setup > accounting > accounting preferences > one world > allow intercompany time & expenses

maybe read up on rev rec per actual work completed on a project, rather than ar - there is info in suite answers on this method

Thanks, yes I have done so, as a workaround (ish) Using the settings tool, within Resource Alloc chart, when selecting 'Include Resources without Allocations' - both the name & ID display. its a workaround I guess

Pierre - out of interest, under normal circumstances - is the Gantt chart opening up for you normally - its very inconsistent for me across all browsers, I want to use it but Im struggling to get consistency

make sure you are looking at the Standard Project Form, and you should be able to uncheck 'create planned time' entries. also, in setup > enable features there is an option around this also
