Hi HollieY, I have a unrelated question for you? Any plans to move to SS 2.0 ?
-
Hi Rgrier, I have an un-releated question for you: Any plans to move to SS 2.0 ?
-
Thanks Oliver! I will get back to you on this!
-
Oliver, Do you remember which configuration elements were you trying to Bundle ?
-
That is by design. We introduced a feature to prevent that from happening.
-
Thanks Phil, this one goes on top!
-
You better register for that session if you are interested in ES6. The team building the new engine will be running this session. See you at SuiteWorld'18.
-
You will be able to uninstall a SuiteApp project which is what you do with bundler. That is not the case of Account Customization Project which today you cannot rollback either(when you build customizations and don't put them in a bundle)
-
Good news. We will be working on fixing this soon. Stay tune and sorry for the inconvenience. Gerson
-
It is in the roadmap for 18.1.
-
Sebastian, Account Customization are designed for projects oriented to your own account. SuiteApps are designed for applications that you plan on distributing commercially. A SuiteApp is designed to be contained in its own therefore all functionality is oriented towards the app itself. For the SuiteApp you would need a…
-
You should be able to deploy actions and fields. Please file a case so that we can follow up through support.
-
Not at this moment. You can submit your feature requests via this forum. Best Regards Gerson

The issue here if that with bundler we don't have a way to define ownership for the object. If we allow this to happen you would be able to overwrite the objects of any other publisher which poses a risk. With SDF we have the concept of AppID to identify the object owner. The appID is formed by Publisher ID + Application…

SDF team working on this now. More news soon...

If you use SuiteBundler to deploy customizations from SandBox to Production today you can use SDF for that. SDF is a deployment mechanism intended to replace SuiteBundler. Now if you plan to publish an app to be used by others outside of your account(Commercial distribution) still you will need to use SuiteBundler. In the…

Hi Michael, Support for transaction Forms is on the pipeline. Stay tuned. Gerson Rodriguez Sr. Product Manager - SDF
-
We will provide a CLI for SDF as we announced during Suite World. The product is intended among other things to allow anyone to develop their own IDE customization. We don't have date yet for the release of CLI. The product is being tested internally and we'll make the announcement soon. Thanks for your patience and stay…
-
David, are you able to see SuiteApp option, when creating a project ?
-
CLI will be available in April as part of 17.1 release.
-
David, I would like to see an screenshot of your project in the SuiteCloud IDE and then the File cabinet in your target account please.
-
Michoel, as per 16.2 SDF does not offer an option to delete files. We are looking into several use cases and will certainly consider yours for upcoming releases.
-
Yes, just run the "Add dependency references" option to confirm. Check your manifest file after that.
-
David, The same structure you see on your project: Filecabinet->SuiteScript, you will see on the file cabinet of your target account. If you create a folder on your project under the SuiteScript folder then that same folder will be cerated under the suitescript folder in your target account. With SDF we are organizing the…

CLI coming soon. Stay tune! Same SDF command set that you have in the SuiteCloud IDE will be available in CLI.
-
David, The SuiteApp option will not be available until 17.1 release. As per 16.2(as explained in the documentation) only Account customization projects will be available. Partners can use this option to build their projects within their dev. environment and then use SuiteBundler to share the project.

David, Thanks for the feedback. Yes, we are aware of the fact that we don't support the most recent implementation of eclipse and we are doing all in our power to align as soon as possible.
