Are there significant issues in having duplicate project names? We often have used them in the past as we implement pre-packaged programs, will this become an issue for us?

Just curious: why are POs managed through the Administration module?

I would imagine it would be more intuitive if you could simply add POs to a project from within the Projects module.

Thanks for writing this though, very helpful.

Just got them enabled ... great work guys! Seems to be much more usable/effective.

I can't remember where I saw it, but I saw an offline timer once that had a similar drop-down list, but the user was able to keep the timer running (constantly) and "switch" between billable (or non-billable) activities. The timer would take care of the organizational rules re rounding up/down to fractional hours, etc.…

Thanks ... in fact I just recently got in touch with them. Very interesting indeed.

Thanks Jonathon ...

My first problem though is that you can't create calculated fields using "Issue" field operands. At least from what I can tell, all of the fields/parameters from the Issue element/object are not available.

Maybe I'm not choosing the right element-type when I create a new calculated…

Thanks Tiago,

Maybe I will chat with your ProServ team. It would be nice however to be able to download/modify/upload specific CSS sheets for the main site, proposals, invoices, etc. That way almost all of the customization can be done offline without bothering your people.

I tried the session timeout…

Hello again Tiago,

I tried the cookie thing again, using the session timeout (of one hour in fact).

The problem is this: I'd like to be able to have links on our portal that go directly to a page within OpenAir (the dashboard for instance: https://www.openair.com/dashboard.pl), but unless a valid UID is in…

That was it ... thanks so much.

Tim,

I'm impressed ... that is a very creative solution. Have you run across a similar requirement? Unfortunately for us, not all our time bills will be full days.

Is there another way to look at this? Something similar to what you would get on your grocery bill: "You saved a total of: $XXX" (based on a…

Certainly.

The events that I was thinking in particular were the "events" within the Opportunities module and "issues" (which we call "risk") in the Projects module.

I've never done a design concept for OpenAir before, so I'll help where I can.

Thanks Jodi.

I would like to ensure that our consultants have a dashboard that defaults to things relevant to them (and possibly, depending on permissions, allow for them to change the context to another consultant) to help them gauge performance, outstanding issues (across all projects), project health of each project they're…

Thanks Elizabeth. I looked and couldn't find it (at least on the Canadian iTunes store).

If it is a Canadian store issue, any idea when it will be available?

Any pre-release comments on the basic features/modules supported? My guess is that it is primarily timesheets and expenses?

Thanks guys.

Both solutions could work. Â Most appreciated.

In your scenario I guess I would expect that the dynamic "hours remaining" would indicate 24hrs remaining. (Isn't that how the current hours remaining works? ... just on a separate tab/page?)

The bigger question is ... after each working 8hrs on the assignment, what if one of them believes there is 32hrs (vs.…

I've actually gone as far as to disable it (i.e. not require it) as it is the most common "pet peeve" of the users.

It does however provide important information and feedback to the PM.

I've just seen that feature implemented on other timesheet/PM applications on the timesheet itself (where the hour…
