May I ask when this change was made, and is it permament? If it is new, then it should not impact me much, because today is the first day I saw it. However, today is also the first day we are live on 11.0.6. Hi Again, Evan, Can you tell me if this is in the upgrade, or has it been running before that? I really need to…
-
Evan, that does not sound very promising. I typically run many searches and reports in different tabs- compiling data for more intensive reports. Once I run them, I export them, and this is also where I saw the error today- doing an export on one caused another search to abort. I hope this isn't ongoing. May I ask when…
-
Thanks again, Evan- even with all of the frustration this week- your wonderful. We all know that sometimes s^&t happens- don't let it get you down. Angela
-
Hi Tim, This is not what we are talking about. I think the errors you saw yesterday were due to the wacko crap that was happenning to all of us. What I am talking about here is the capability to run multiple reports at the same time. For example, If I run one report in one tab, and begin another report in a different tab,…

From the layout you can edit "subsections" and see the accounts. From the section view you can edit which account falls in to that section. You can also edit the section from the account level. -Andrew My entire question is simply- will having done it this way cause errors. yes or no?
-
Jamie, Before you 'flip the switch' and turn on bins, you may want to look over this thread: https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?t=3603&highlight=bin+management Bins do work in NS, the key is understanding how they work before flipping the switch. Have fun!
-
You put accounts in to sections and then adjust or arrange the sections in the layout. Also note that an account can only be in on secretion so if you plan on using different layouts define sections more narrowly and add multiple to a section. As a test print off a financial statement with the standard layout and then the…

So that fact that I have serious unresolved bin issues will prevent me from doing this. Oh well, can't say I didnt try.....
-
Angela - what issue is this - 121686? Thanks, -e Thats the one- according to my support cases, it was closed at 4:56 pm on Friday.....
-
Hi Angelika, Since I can vouch for your organization of your store, and I am also learning all there is to know about Bins, I think there is a easy way to do this for you, using a combination of your item numbers and some good bin usage- The trick to the bins is that they DO work, but not as one would logically assume. The…
-
Angelika, Since I just got word from NS that they have closed the case on my bin errore- as it is "Status changed from Pending Investigation to Pending Development Assignment"- is short, the fact that adjustments cannot be made via inventory adjustment, except for one item (bin) at a time, I would recommend that you NOT…
-
The case is closed but the issue remains open and assigned to the product team, which means it will be looked at and potentially worked on soon if the product team agrees it's a problem not an enhancement. It is currently classified as a problem. Thanks, -e I would certainly hope so, Evan, as it is a MAJOR problem for me.

Ray, I had some thoughts on this. Often, what is happening, is we receive an order- some of the items are in stock, so the SO is a regular SO. However, if some of the items are special order/ dropships, some are not. We then use the drop ship PO form, if necessary. This is where I suspect we may be going wrong. Will using…
-
Drop shipments (non inventory) versus special orders or inventory are not your inventory. So there should be no inventory impact. No ?. A sales order - no gl impact. A po (dropshipped) - no gl impact. Receive PO - no gl impact (automatically fulfils SO) bill PO - cogs increased. bill SO - revenue increased. are you sure…
-
Angelika- since I know your system, as well as how many items you have, I would advise against flipping bins on at this point. It seems I am the guinea pig for bins at the moment, and they are turning into the bane of my existence this week. I will let you know when I have resolution, as I rattled enough cages this morning…
-
Does this mean that folks who do not pay for support do not get their emails responded to? It certainly sounds that way.
-
Hi Robin, I can only tell you what I have learned from having support, and how we have used it. We have found that support is not something to be used to build and customize your program. For example, if you call them to resolve a specific issue based upon a flaw from a customization, they are relatively useless. Often…

all fixed, Im happy. No idea what it was, but hes in now...

Hi Ted- on the phone with support- it is bill.chase@ipgear.net, Support has me on hold, I showed them the error, and they are looking at it from your side??? nice music, though, very soothing. :D Well, it was soothing until they disconnected me...sigh....

Mine is not related to the webstore, just an individual full user- dont think this is the same thing. Anyway, on hold for support...gotta get this one fixed quick.

was rather strange, actually, I had completely reset everything on his user account, including password. This was happening on three different computers, and I had cleared the cache on mine this morning. After being on hold, the gentleman on the phone asked me to reset the password, again. I did so, and this time it…

Angelika, DOn't be afraid to use mass updates again. If you know how to use them, they do work. In the future, go ahead and use the mass updates, but use it on one or two items to test it. This way, you can figure out the reasoning without risking serious errors. Looks like you are getting skilled in how to use (and not…

??. are the items inventory versus non inventory ?. or something. PO's dont have a financial impact - so not sure how its debiting inventory. Only when you receive a PO it has an impact.. normally inventory not billed or something. Well, all items are serialized inventory items. Same type, different names, prices, etc. I…

and you tried the path- support-contact support online, then halfway down that page on the right side, under Addittional resources, the link for the knowledge base?

if anyone cares- spent 30 minutes on hold for support, and in my impatience, went into the form to mess around. A few days ago, we removed the check in the box "tax item" to display, because Oregon does not have sales tax, and there was no need to clutter our form with stuff we dont need. I rechecked it, and the error is…

Wow Evan... Are you serious?!... This group seems to be addressing an area, customer service and support, that Netsuite clearly has problems with. In fact, Evan, if Netsuite itself were not such a good product and our salesman was not as fantastic as he is, you can beleive that I would not have tolerated the wait times,…

I have many zero quantity items that have a value with a positive balance, too. Angelika, Do you do any kind of a physical inventory count- ever? In your case, this may be easier to sort out than you anticipate, depending on how you closed out your year.
