  • Ditto. Best we do in the meantime is to manage by exception. - Cut and paste the URL of the page you are trying to go to under a role that DOES have sufficient permissions - email it to the person you are TRYING to enable permissions for - cross your fingers and hope that the error page gives you reasonable info on which…
  • Ray (or anyone else), Is there anyone else that you suggest? We are currently using B2BExchange, but for a variety of reasons feel the need now to explore other options.
  • Looks like a GREAT tool. Just getting into it. However, Safari and Google Chrome don't load the Resource Manager. Firefox does. Would love to know why this is the case. And if this is planned to work under better browsers.
  • ARGGGH! Projects that have "Create Planned Time Entries" = UNCHECKED ... and that have NO planned time entries under time tracking ...still appear in the Resource Manager as ASSIGNED. Great potential tool, but totally unusable unless I manually select projects in the filter. What is the process for getting NetSuite to fix…
  • What is the update on this? The fact that these three (related) things are missing have been killing us from day one: - no ability to create a project template - no ability to copy an existing project to use as a template (which would involve stripping out billed time and transaction records) - no ability to reassign…
  • Would also love some better implementation in this area.
  • The only way I know how to create a custom admin role is to start from scratch and manually add every permission. Is there an easier way? Once upon a time there was a bundle that created a role with some full access permissions, but that is old and it looks very time consuming to go through that bundle and figure out all…
  • Thanks. Vendors / Vendor Bills / Approve would be my #1 next record type preference. Don't forget about us Operations folks! Hi Brian, the only permission unique to the iPhone app is the Mobile Device Access permission. Beyond that, for mobile-supported record types, the app observes the same record permissions you have on…
  • I am getting the same error even when adding global permission. Bummer. Despite adding the "Mobile Device Access" global permission, I'm still getting a permission error when trying to use my admin role. Other roles seem to work OK.
  • Theory: "supposed to", yes that sounds right... Reality: it does not. If someone has some evidence to the contrary or knowledge of a fix in the works, please share! You shouldn't need to do that, adding the global permission to the employee record is supposed to allow access.
  • It strikes me that the role of admin is fairly moot with respect to NetSuite for iPhone, as there are only certain things that can be done on the iPhone irrespective of what your role/permissions are. Given these inherent limitations, my gut tells me that best practices will have: - new iPhone-optimized roles for sales,…
