Can't seem to find SuiteAnswers ID: 30288 to vote on it?

over a year, did NAB move up the list as can't see it?

Our issue was with Paymate, turned out to be a NS issue with bringing in the New Year. Seems to be resolved now in our system. Was actually taking the funds from the customers credit card but not being processed by NS. Unsure if relative to your issues.

I see someone else found this as well. I've been going round and round with support on this one. I'm one of those hapless folks who decided to do a marketing campaign (Christmas thankyou cards actually) a few months after starting to use SFA/CRM. The result was that on the 20th of December I couldn't send out any cards.…

yes, using it for OFFICE365

Outlook. It separated the contact from the customer and reintroduced to NS as a new contact.
-
Gave up, went APPLE and happier with running separate address book / calendar. Too many duplication issues and incompatible OS (Windows), false promises from NS on new releases for bug fixes etc etc. Don't do it....:h_a_w:

Currently, I'm told that the way for Outlook to sync with NetSuite is to have POP3 running. I can't seem to find anything related to syncing with Exchange. How problematic could it be to enable ActiveSync? Is POP3 really the only method? I did it with exchange, I have now returned to my Apple machines and discarded and…

Yes, I am on .166. I found that disabling the customers removed where the contact is located and therefore duplicates the contacts (again) in NS. Watch this one, it's a real gem. As it is consuming so much time for the end result I am soooooo close to just unbolting OL altogether and running my mac's on std mailOSX.....
-
Stay away from it would be my suggestion. I have been playing with this version and it is as dodge as! It wants to duplicate contacts, it makes employees inactive....it is like a moving target so you can't determine exactly the causes. We simply have the contacts syncing, deactivated all the other options like customers,…

try the BETA version, this fixed that particular issue.
-
Latest version has fixed the issue with "business phone numbers" not being sync'd. All looks pretty good so far. :)
-
ensure it is 166 you install & not just another copy of 163. Unsure if it is "up" yet? Email me your address if you need to & I will fwd the version support sent.

 Daniel, I am in trouble here. I am trying to work around the issues with Mac-Book's & sync of contacts. Tried NetsynX - no! Tried setting up Intellisyc again on my WIN7 machine (as Outlook-2 is not able to install) but cannot get around the error "IS4WEB has stopped working". Then I have set up a VISTA machine,…

a new build has become available, 166 replacing 163. Am just searching around for it as may fix both this and the business number missing in the sync.
-
Same here, fighting the tide since mass update to change Last name then first order, this has rippled the contacts. I can see up to 4 contacts in Netsuite, same name, but only 1 is real so unable to merge them....
-
you need to go back tpo your Dashboard now and set in "Preferences" :)
-
I use "Mass Updates/Contact Management/Add Contact Category" :)

Good question. I think it is probably too early to know if NS will sync with outlook for mac. It isn't due out until late 2010. We use mac mail right now and I also looked into NetsyncX and couldn't justify the cost. http://www.macworld.com/article/142266/2009/08/office_2010_outlook.html if still using a MAC, try…

you need to ve a contact "Category" for each contact ticked. You can use multiple "categories" per contact. So we can tick "Emma, Brett" but not "Adam" and then it sync's to Outlook this contact for only Emma & Brett but NOT Adam. Ask your admin person to set up the categories and allow you to choose which contacts…

Better to set up a Windows machine just for OL sync. Tried with "Intellistink" on my Home Media Center running WIN7 but battling errors (the "IS4WEB has failed", can't use OUTLOOK-2 from NS as this will not install on WIN7. Help team are about 2 weeks into it with no solution. Have now fired up a VISTA machine, different…
-
did this ever get solved? I have spent like 3 days editing contacts to reflect only current employee's. Cannot seem to figure out a mass update to remove the contacts from a category.
-
UPDATE: running smoothly on all VISTA machines with OL-2 version from NS, rolling back all WIN7 machines to VISTA & removing "Intellistink" completely to use this feature. Have absolutely no idea why NS want us to enter the password each time for OL-2, especially when they provide the "auto" function (i.e. 1 hour, 12…
-
yes, just hold down the "CTRL" key and select multiple categories (category would usually be initials of salesperson) :)
-
we have multiple "sync" categories....so "x" category relates to 1 person, "Y" category to another & so on. This way you select under each contact the sync category relating to you personally or the individual salesperson.
-
got my Mackbook ticking along, any suggestions for sync issues with conatcts, calendar etc? What are we using out there?
-
excellent idea, will give it a shot. Thanks Nick.
-
we have been sync'ing ok w/- WIN7. Our duplication was coming from where a contact may have multiple categories i.e. sync'ing to multiple sales people, if 3 sales people had the contact then it would appear 3 times. Once we worked around this we were away. We ONLY sync contacts, did not bother with any of the other…

OL-2 now working on Windows 7 ok. Bumped into the 5000 customer limitation & also noticed today that it has not sync'd my work numbers across for "contacts". I right mouse clicked the install file on my desktop, changed compatibility to XP SP2, ran as Administrator & away she went. Off now to find the missing phone…
