we have an open case running but finding it difficult to show NS the issue. They want us to set our system back to "fault" status to illustrate. We have asked them if they could not just take a snapshot of the system and play to their hearts content. Our Case#701179 is being handled by Faye if anybody needs to refer to it…

Thanks Evan, you just need to pass this onto your Australian office as it contradicts their official line here. "Thank you for your email. Invertek declined our offer for On-Demand support. Your company is not covered by a support contract. As a consequence we will not process your inquiry. I apologize for any…

No, you will need to go and change the Global Setup to "Warn Only" and we found that we needed to give users Full Access to the system. Our update went thru on Friday night which is when this issue started. Note that we have ours set that after 5 days following the 30 day credit terms that the account goes on hold. We…

set everyone to "Full Access"....I think maybe "Administrator" is working but needs further testing.

Hi John, did I not read something on an email about the Beta version and having a direct phone number to call with any bugs located? If you have not accessed your Beta account yet, we highly recommend you do so prior to the end of your Beta access period on Friday, April 4. As a reminder, Customer Support is available via…

hmmm....our guys were in as "Custom Sales managers" and it behaved as if customers were still on hold and was being enforced. Did you do the "global" war only or have you been able to successfully set individual records to "off" and still fulfill?
-
Hi John, same thing here, except the bug is with current version. Opportunities do not hold the "average cost" and "last purchase price" values upon "save" anymore. The OZ support guys sent me on my way and advised we post it in the user group Why would we pay to advise them of their own software issues? :p

Please file a defect case and I will get this looked at. Defect 142275
-
we have n excellent guy in Sydney, Absolute Vision Technology.....has successfuly engineered various scripts along with an auto upload of inventory levels on a daily basis to our distributors server.
-
Last Friday, no changes.
-
New issue relating to on hold split into case 9446 Workaround is to have everyone given "Full Access" and to setup account overdue as warning only rather than enforce hold.
-
Have approx 4000 line items.....this being one of the main points of using NS, the "AUTO Ordering"......sort of defeats the purpose really :(
-
no takers? NS, this script is useless in the current format as can only be used for "items" or "assy items".....not both!
-
doing ok. It is only the bugs in the software which cause us the issues, paying a support fee will not overcome them unfortuntely. Would suggest you have a plan if a relative new user as needed them often in the first couple of years and found the service for general queries very high rate.
-
new release arrived, same issue at hand. 1 days preferred stock has actually increased (not decreased) overnight and ridiculous qty's of items are wanting to be ordered, that very few (if any) have ever been sold. It appears that the "Save As" feature which was used to create the majority of these has had an impact which…

Evan, thanks for the suggestion....but....I think you can only INCREASE here with a positive % and cannot enter a negative %.

DLT = 60 days DSS = 1 Day OAI = 6 months SAI = 1 month EDC =0% TTC = Actual Sales Evan, these are my settings but the inventory suggestion for reorder is in the 100's of 1000's.....how do I scale back? I Have changed the "OAI" up/down from 3months to 3 years....pretty much the same result +-$50k.
-
Script was written and works well, we now can keepour costs updated "on the fly" direct from the PO.

when? see below: Defect 135903 - Advanced Inventory Management: Calculated values for Lead Time, Preferred Stock Level and Reorder Point are two high and unrealistic SUMMARY: Calculated values for Lead Time, Preferred Stock Level and Reorder Point are two high and unrealistic WORKAROUND: None where would I find info on…

The Sneak peek about new enhancements says this in now included. I've just tried to download the client software, looks like the old version. IS outlook 2007 now supported or when????? Steve, check other posts on this.....never made the release
-
yes, if the customer replies and we receive into OL and then we reply....the message goes to default email address of that customer rather than the name showing
-
goodluck, this issue has been around for a very long time
-
this issue has been around for a long time Evan, you will find other posts in the forum regarding this.
-
would love this feature, we should be able to select from any folder (netSuite or Computer). Long overdue!

found solution
-
had it working through the "Departments" but having to fill all the fields manually made it too involved so shut it down.
-
I went down the path of using "Departments" and assigning the rep. The issue is that you have to ensure all your expenses are correctly allocated, so your telephone bill is split to show the correct allocations for example. On the sales order, you add the department, the sales man, the location, etc. A bit convoluted, just…

I have exactly the same issue......what's going on
