I tried this in Firefox and, you are right! It works. As my company uses GSuite, however, Chrome is better for me to be in. I tried the setting preferences solution in SuiteAnswers and it worked. I am very grateful to you for the speedy reply. This will save me a lot of time and effort.

OH! Thank you so much!!!

This worked wonderfully! I waited till things in the office were calm and now see what you mean. Selecting the () Amounts were needed for the the column breakout. I learned a new thing. Thank you!

When looking at this again, I do get the sums returned for both the debits and credits. I was hoping that I could set it up some way that each would separate into its own column once the saved search is run. Will this happen with what you sent as a screenshot?

I just checked in Sandbox, logged in as an admin, and see that it IS a permission issue. Argh! Now I need to grant my user role the permission.

I do not see the option to select "column." Is that a permission setting? (The blue box will not go away.)

Hello Shamaine. Thank you very much and, again, I am sorry for the slow reply. Yes, I do want separate columns for income and expenses. I would use this sort of report for partners who are sometimes clients and sometimes our vendors. The "ideal report" would look something like this: The saved search I have now looks like…

Thank you. I will prepare something and reply tomorrow. I am sorry for the slow reply. I need to dummy something up to upload.

Thank you k_dunc! I replaced ${record.amountremaining@label} with ${record.balancedue} but the line is blank when I try to print to PDF. Our invoices have "Amount Owed" and "Amount Paid" on them already. I am trying to add a line with "Balance Due" when a partial payment has been made. The label is the only thing I am…

al3xicon Thank you so much. I would love to learn how to customize NetSuite. At my last company, we used SAP and I admired the in-house developer so much. It's a dream to learn all this.

Another newbie (to reporting) here! I have a question along similar lines. Ideally, I'd like to be able to create reports from scratch. As long as data is contained in its own field - in one case, a purchase order number, a client and dates of invoices - shouldn't I be able to build that report within NetSuite? I have been…

I am looking for this exact same thing now! Did you find the answer? Is there a way to access the data from a Saved Search or Report? Thank you.
