Hi, I think you might have posted in the wrong section, as you replied to my question about inventory count and dating. Either way, my thought is run a report or saved search with bin location field. Then export to Excel to re-group as you need. Or you can customize the inventory snapshot report to group by bin or filter…

Hi That does help. if we enter it a line item on the vendor bill but not the tax account. Then do a GL entry to move that cost from 1 account to another, it should work. Not an ideal way but a solid work around ensure it gets onto our reports for calculations. Thank you, Ian

Hi, I tired this out and it works just have to be be careful if we need to edit the bill as the taxes will auto re-calc when we click edit. We import for example 1000$ US of material from a US vendor, our broker clears the goods for us, converts that amount to CDN funds (ie at 25% exchange 1250$ cdn) then adds the 5% GST (62.50$) to their invoice.
