Sorry, I spoke too soon. Using your formula above will still result in negative qty if PREFERRED STOCK LEVEL (37) plus BACK ORDERED (50) minus ON ORDER (96) is less than 0.

Shamaine, Thank you for your suggestion. Unfortunately I tried those fields before and they did produce the desired result of including results which the sales order had no related / linked purchase order.

I have succeeded in my task for the first part. See first 2 pics. What I am having difficulty doing now is to replicate that action for the SALES DESCRIPTION on the System Information tab. See 3rd pic. .

Pauline Joy Cac-Oracle, This is on a part numbers. Fields: purchasedescription and salesdescription For Instance, when a new part number is entered into NetSuite, I want to be able to enter the description only in the purchasedescription field and have that description automatically copied into the salesdescription field.
