Please note our dedicated team will be on reduced coverage during this time, and regular responsiveness will resume on January 5. Wishing you a joyful and restful holiday season!

Hi. I am also looking for this report and checked the linked suiteanswer. However I cannot find this field in the saved search: Cost Component Item
-
This is our first time installing the GL Audit Numbering. We will start using it so we are figuring out how to give permission for this feature to custom roles
-
Thank you I will try this

Clarisa's answer doesn't work for this as journal lines in Journal entry are unable to tag the correct item with the inventory value. My solution to this which works for us is to create a purchase order with all the inventory balance and the PO currency is the secondary book currency. Then process the PO and create a…
-
UPDATE: I have found why it is not working. There's a field in custom item field record called 'field'. I originally selected a value for this field but for my case I should leave this empty. So when I updated the custom item field record, my field is not correct.

both customized and standard form, i checked. same results. in the screenshot inventory detail is greyed out. cannot select. the item is a inventory which uses bin.
-
no i don't have any further questions

here is the custom transaction. Our sales report preference is setup to show all including journal entry.

The Sales account in screenshot is Income Type. The Accrued Sales account in screenshot is Other Current Liability type.

Hello Patrick, Thank you for the answer. I know that a new column can be added and grouped with the accounts column. But I only need certain account type to be grouped by custom segment. In the Edit Layout for financial reports like income statement, you can group certain account type by account, class, department,…
-
Yes it is posted. We can see the custom transactions in balance sheet and income statement reports.
-
I don't think I can give screenshot. But all the reports in Reports -> Sales . And yes, the custom transaction type is not showing on the sales report even though we have Income accounts on those custom transactions
-
okay I'll try that. Thank you.
-
It's okay I found the primary cause of why there is no system notes log when I am updating the custom field. I just uncheck this setting: COMPANY -> GENERAL PREFERENCES -> LOG SYSTEM NOTES ON UPDATE ONLY It's just weird since I updated the custom field when this is checked, it will not log the changes but when I uncheck,…
-
It's okay I found a way. I just discovered I can create a saved search-sent email list. but aside from this, is it possible to include all those emails sent in the communications tab of customer/contact records?
-
Our accountant is looking for similar functionality that they use in Quickbook. They have these exception reports. After filing and closing the tax period, Quickbooks will be able to tell if there have been changes in those transactions' tax/vat. It will show up in the Exception amount. Here is the link…

The answer from scripting team is so weird. So what is the purpose of SuiteGL? This is from Netsuite "The Custom GL Lines Plug-in modifies the general ledger impact of standard and custom transactions."
-
Hello Joy, Thank you for the answer. Is there an available workaround solution? even through scripting?
