Would you suggest setting the expiration date for the existing deduction payroll item and then adding the deduction with a 2024 effective date, or just changing the amount to the new rate? Is it possible to do this through a workflow or does it have to be done with a script? I'm trying to accomplish the same thing, but have never written a script before. I added the custom Hold field to the vendor record and am trying to figure out what to do next.
