I don't think release notes EVER mention if functionalities are paid features or not. I do remember hearing that this, and further purchasing enhancements, would come under a new Purchasing module.
-
If you talking about the Release Preview, then that is "normal". NS deactivates all searches to lessen the load on their servers. You have to reactivate the ones you want to test.
-
Your account should have an Account Manager you can reach out to. Otherwise, you can file a Case with NS Support asking your questions, they should be able to provide most if not all of the information you need.
-
We deal with many, many accounts and I have not experienced any across the board slowdown. I recommend you file a case with Netsuite Support's Performance team.
-
Hope that doesn't make you mad, but everyone has access to the Beta servers, actually.
-
ERP Guru will have a few people over there, if anyone wants to meet our team let me know, I'll make arrangements (I myself will not be there unfortunately)
-
Oh I see what you're saying. Yeah that's a little strange. Might be worth talking to Netsuite Support about it.
-
Unrealized comes from open transactions and foreign currency bank accounts. Do you have any of those? Do you run the currency revaluation tool every month?
-
Yeah we've built import tools for such occasions. Can be CSV import via custom records, or a web services app. Celigo has an off-the-shelf product for this as well. All such tools make Inventory Adjustments, NOT Inventory Adjustment Worksheets though (which as explained in my blog post, there's an important difference) so…

The alert() thing shouldn't be necessary since all your setLineValues have the synch flag to true... Could you let us know is NS confirms Defects for any of the problems you listed?
-
Interesting they would suggest that. On the assumption this is a needed work-around for a defect involding nlapiSelectNewLineItem() and we need to keep the select - what is the value of i in nlapiSelectLineItem('item', i); ? What do you set it to?
-
Uhh... I find it odd it says you're a NS Employee..?? Anyway, scripts fail sometimes after version changes. You'll have to identify cause and submit a Case at Netsuite. They usually get fixed pretty fast.
-
Myeah, could be a lot of things. Let them investigate I guess.
-
Nope. What are you seeing, Unexpected Error?
-
ERP Guru will have a large delegation this year again (though I will not be there personally this year). Anyone who wants to meet us is more than welcome to drop me a line and I'll make arrangements :)

Submit a Case with Support.
-
Cancelled orders are still in your system, you can pull any search you like to look at them.
-
Cancel has always existed. You can only Cancel Unapproved orders. Approved orders and onwards need to be closed.
-
The new Netsuite UI requires you to agree to deploy each form of every record. Check out the "Additional Resources : Release Notes : Version 2010 Release 2 Release Notes : User Interface Changes" topic in the Help.

Hi Elliott, Are there specific link(s) from the More Actions menu that you need right click to work for. Thanks Ken GL Impact for sure
-
Happened to me once. Open a Case, they may need to do a back-end fix.
-
No change, you still need to close them one by one.
-
FYI, if you change the Shipping Address, it wipes out your Ship Via values. And if that Ship Via was a UPS carrier, it wipes out the Shipping Cost as well. So.. be careful.
-
Woah, Malin... after I posted this I called Support and asked the same question, and the answer was "Yes, you can". Which is correct? Can you or can't you? Thanks

Is it possible to Approve Sales Orders from the iPhone app?
-
There is a major problem with the Hours & Earnings Report. Hours and earnings from paychecks that were reversed are still included in that report. After reporting it to Support, I received an email that it had already been reported months ago and is Defect 144215. Supposedly it will be corrected in a future update. I found…

Hey Phil - Who should I ask about the real performance benefits of using a dedicated server, to know if and when I should recommend it to customers?
-
While on the subject, can anyone provide metrics on performance increase from being on your own server?
-
Not that this is terribly useful information, but ¤ is the generic symbol for currency.
-
Hah, it expanded overnight for us as well. I'm not sure it's a "problem" so much as a "new feature"... Like you said, not the end of the world, but a bit sudden...
