Bummer. You can zero out inventory using Inventory Worksheets. I think we have come across similar problems, and there isn't much to do, what with the system indeed limiting the decimals. Periodically zeroing it out at least makes things a little cleaner.
-
Yes. On the Worksheet, you say what quantity you want - not what adjustment you want. So, just write 0 where required.
-
Yes, that looks like a LivePerson issue. In any case, you really should file a Case with NS Support.
-
Edit the Customer Center role and set "Return Authorization" permission to NONE.
-
Maybe they are using different sublist default views? One that is much slower because it pulls more data?
-
The instant you log in even once with that role, you can never delete it. The dependant records are audit trails. So, inactivate the Role, that's the best you can do.
-
Not to add you your woes, but do you sell inventory items or just services?
-
No there isn't
-
Sometimes I issue myself a gift certificate and pay with that, too. You can delete the transaction where you gave yourself the gift cert when you're done testing
-
That can and does happen, yes. Best to wait to hear from the developer/NS support.
-
You can notify NS. Open a Case. They have access to your backend and can see the unexpected errors, along with a more detailed message. Just give them the record it happened on, the user that triggered it (which can be System) and the date and time of one of the errors.
-
Yeah, the link on the error itself has never worked as far as I can remember.
-
This can be done via a Scheduled Script, or perhaps a Mass Update script. The two are pretty similar, really. But, yeah, scripting. There are no other ways that I can think of.
-
Mmm, I recommend you file a Case.
-
Store Value false inline fields are never visible on create. This is normal.
-
The message isn't always super indicative of what's going on. The typical possibilities are: 1. It's undergoing a refresh 2. It's simply down 3. Your contract expired and it's gone 4. It actually is undergoing maitenance (similar to 2 I guess). Best thing to do is contact Support, they'll get it sorted out in a jiffy.

We have a record that was changed by a user who swore they were not at their keyboard. We thought perhaps they were mistaken, until we realized the user has read only access to the record. They should have never been able to make the change. This has been verified with Netsuite. They have confirmed that somehow a user…

IIRC you are allowed 40 concurrent requests per RESTlet login, so if you're busting that, yeah, you'll simply get no response. Sandbox performance is also slower than prod, yes. So if you're relying on high performance (i.e. hammering in your resquests really quickly and trying to act on them really quickly) you MIGHT run…
-
That doesn't really sound normal, even for the Sandbox. Might be worth filing a Case.
-
Please file a Case with NS Support if you haven't done so already
-
On the Period record (Setup->Accounting->Manage Accounting Periods), tick in the "Allow non-GL Changes" checkbox. Then, using a Role with the permission of the same name, you should be able to make changes that do not impact the GL, such as adding notes.
-
Any design in NetSuite should always, ALWAYS avoid having to touch any transaction that has been saved. So recording your deferred revenue schedule in a custom record is a much better idea, yes.
-
Sandboxes are purchased, like additional modules. Contact your NS sales rep for pricing and details.
-
Yes, this is a fact. Sandboxes are all slower.
-
Yeah this is a SUPER annoying bug that has been going on for several months now. Here's how to fix: Add &crit_1_mod=TH to the end of the URL Press Enter
-
But remember that I copied (duplicated) EXACTLY the Accountant Role and I was not able to get to the report. What field could possibly behave like that? Thanks. Felipe's answer is correct. Making a copy of the role will NOT transfer all permitted objects such as reports and searches.
-
Hi Julie I know this thread mentions this problem (check more towards the bottom) but I don't know much else
-
We're back up
-
Not just a UK thing, system.netsuite.com is down in Canada too this morning.
-
I recommend file a Case with Ns Support.
