I thought I was onto something... I had overlooked the Employee join, which seems like it would give access to anything on the record of either employee on the sales team. But I've added a few different fields from that join to my saved search (my custom commission rate field, First Name, Email), and none of them displayed…
-
Thank you for your thoughts! I spent quite a bit of time with SuiteAnalytics, which certainly has access to the joins I need and lots of useful features, before realizing how limited its export options are. I've voted for the enhancement to add this functionality, but without the ability to create a PDF/Excel report I'm…

Yes, it is working for us as far as I can tell. I would mark nag_m's response as answering my question, but that option isn't available since I didn't start this thread.

Amount Remaining/Due was not available in the workflow field selection list under From Field or Formula, but choosing Formula and typing in {amountremaining} worked.
-
I set up #2 as you described, but I was unable to find the Amount Due field to copy to our custom field in the workflow action (I tried Balance, but that is for the account, not the individual invoice). Can you help me over this last hump? I've created a Set Field Value action in my (scheduled) workflow and for the value I…

Joy, Happy new year! All of the behavior you detailed above tracks with what I am seeing. The question now is How can we both get the behavior you were seeing previously, where only the first line edit would trigger the pop-up? Paul
-
We are dealing with this exact issue, needing to know when the amount due on an invoice has changed. It seems like a saved search could help in many cases, by tracking changes to associated transactions like payments a credits, but if that link is broken, say, by removing the line on a payment where it was applied to an…

The "Block pop-up windows" box was already checked in my Firefox settings. Just in case, I unchecked it, restarted the browser, and got the same notification (without the 'Allow to prompt' checkbox). Then I checked the "Block pop-up windows" box, restarted FF, and got the same result again. But then I tried something…
-
Update: it doesn't matter if the change I make is to a custom field or not.
-
I'm using Firefox as well, but my pop up is missing the "Don't allow ...... to prompt you again" line with a checkbox. Are you checking that box to prevent further popups? That seems to be a Firefox feature, but haven't yet been able to run down how to enable it. I re-tested with a sales order that has lots of drop ships…
-
Yes, I did mean it would be helpful to prevent the popup after the first time it occurred on each sales order being edited. In our case, we are seeing the notification after editing each individual line. I'm encouraged to know that you only see the notification when editing the first line; can you share what browser you're…

Done, and I voted for the enhancement you mentioned as well. Thanks.
-
Thanks for your response, and I'd be happy to vote for that enhancement. My question is more about why the process of voting for enhancements is difficult and confusing. Why does it require a separate role at all? Another model would be to have SuiteIdeas housed in a website like Oracle Communities, where you can access it…

Eight years on and I'm having the same trouble reported above. Does Netsuite even want to hear from us? I've added the Netsuite Support Center Role and the (Basic) role to my admin account, and every time I try to access SuiteIdeas I am logged out. Why in the world can't I view SuiteIdeas and be logged into Netsuite at the…

I am having a hard time getting access to the SuiteIdeas site. Since it is not on-topic here I will start (or find) another thread. And yes, any help with this issue would be greatly appreciated!

Joy, You are exactly right in all assumptions, and your test shows me what I needed to know, which is unfortunately that when POs are changed from drop ship to standard or vice versa, the backordered/committed quantities will be incorrect. This leaves us in a tricky spot since our POs do change in this way from time to…
-
When we change a drop ship PO to a standard PO, is it possible to have the lines on the sales order once again reflect a backordered quantity? Do we need to break that connection between the PO and the sales order somehow, or can it be changed from drop ship to standard or special order?
-
I think I have the answer. If a drop ship PO has been created for the line, it will show nothing in the backordered column even if the quantity fulfilled is zero.
-
Thanks for your response. I think the email notifications from this site are going to my spam folder or something. I will see if we can develop a customization to address this issue.
-
I apologize; I don't think I am getting notifications when my questions have a response. I've been working on others issues, and I'll return to this thread with more details if I find myself in the same pickle. Thanks!
-
Thanks for your response. Can you help me with how to vote for that enhancement?

It's 2022 now, and I was unable to find that SuiteAnswers article. Maybe someone could tell me how to search by article number? I tried several different ways to find it on SuiteAnswers, but I finally did find a workaround on a consultant website (can't post that link here, but credit where due it was jcurvesolutions)…

Thank you for getting back with me, but no, neither of the vendors involved have any pricing schedules associated with them.
-
I don't think we have vendor pricing schedules set up, but can you help me with how to check that? What I'm seeing is that any time I change the vendor on the PO, the prices revert to the Purchase Price from the item record. My test looks like this: create the PO select a vendor enter a couple of items and change their…

I'm sorry, I've searched the page and I don't see where I can click that. Maybe because I'm not an "answer accepter" yet, or because I did not ask the original question? I only have access to the 'quote - insightful - agree ...' buttons.
-
It does, and thank you very much!
-
Thank you for your response, Michelle. My saved search is for transactions (sales orders specifically), but does the same logic apply? I'm trying to add a condition that the sales team member be the primary rep, so I added "and {salesteammember} = {salesrep}" to my 'case when' clause, and the results look good, though I'm…
-
I realize this is long after the fact, but Doug, wherever you may be... it would really help the rest of us if you posted your solution. Does anyone know what the name of the flag for primary sales rep is (when using sales teams) in saved search? I feel like I've tried everything with no success. There is even a "Primary…
