Thanks for the reply, but I do not understand the distinction between the two. I have made a template and forgotten to add the declare statement and it seems to work. I am not sure when I would need to add the statement.

Thanks for your help. I don't really understand the correct formatting of javascript, but it seems to work really well now.

I have fixed it. I don't understand how, but it is now working. Thanks, Paul.

Dear Bushra, Thank you so much for your help, however I have just corrected my previous post as I was inadvertently using Item List Cell whereas the problem is the Category List Cell. I am sorry you have been to so much trouble. Here is a cracking example or the problem where I have made a 3x3 Category List Layout,…

I am lost with this. I am unsure if I need a forward or back slash and which quotes need to be single and which double. I have done a little experiment on a simplified version of the script and if I try to set the height using single quotes it does not work. If on the other hand I use double or no quotes at all the small…

I have tried removing the quotes and keeping them to a minimium but it still has errors. { document.write(' <img src=\"http://shopping.netsuite.com/core/media/media.nl?id=12560&c=1015608&h=4ddf1b4acc15a11eb25d\" height=20 width=20>' value ='New Window!'…

That is simply wonderful. If anyone wants it here is a tag that will check an item for the presence of a document and if one exists will display a small click-able image that will pop a download. Alternativly if no document is present it will display a different image. In my case I am using a coloured transparent…

I was a bit too hasty. It works but only if I remove the following - any ideas how to get that to work? value ="New Window!" onClick="window.open('<%=getCurrentAttribute('item','custitempdf')%>','mywindow','scrollbars=no','toolbar=no','location=no','status=no','menubar=no','resizable=no','directories=no');"…

I am sorry you have lost me completely, I don't understand the code below at all, I can't see it listed in html commands. I thought images needed to start with <img document.write('<ul id=\"navlistmainMEM">

Dear Rob, I have made a few tests and I can get everything to work as long as the result of the test is to "write" text. The problem is that I want to "write" an image, but it won't do that, I don't understand what I am doing wrong. document.write(" <img…

Is this what you mean? <<SCRIPT LANGUAGE="JavaScript"> <!-- if ("<%=getCurrentAttribute('item','custitempdf')%>"= ="") { document.write(" <img src="https://system.netsuite.com/core/media/media.nl?id=5405amp;c=1015608&h=8f055431aaa313476d6e" height=20 width=20 > ") } else { document.write(" <img…

That's not correct search keywords in Netsuite do not need a comma. Google does however. Either way I need DECODE to work.

So will I however I have found that we had a huge problem with SEO. We left out the Meta-Tag HTML when we re-designed the site and didn't pick it up. I have added it in along with other changes so I doubt I will be able to detect the improvement as I think that it will get mixed up with the other improvements we are…

Sorry to be a pain but I am going to try some of your suggestions but I don't really understand what these terms are doing so I am not sure which to use and which to not. My sire does use descriptive URL's #Sitemap User-agent: * Disallow: /Cart #Cart Disallow: /s.nl/sc.3 #Cart 1 Disallow: /s.nl/sc.10 #Cart 2 Disallow:…

I don't know if it is related but according to "Webmaster tools" the number of indexed pages of one of our Netsuite sites has just dropped by 75%. The other has dropped by 30% since the weekend. If I do site:www.mysite.co.uk then I do not see any change, so I am not sure if I should be worried or not.

We are having huge problems getting Google to index our site http://www.cp-lighting.co.uk [CENTER] [/CENTER] The green areas is the number of pages in our site and the blue area represents the number of pages indexed by Google.

I would go the web services route and build a site from scratch to integrate with your NetSuite back office. Can you explain more about this option. How does it work do youneed to re-key orders. Can the site be W3C. If you have done this for a client can you post a link so that we can se an example? Thanks, Paul. Google…

I would really appreciate some help here. I have two Netsuite instances and in both cases I cannot get Bing to index more than a handful of pages. [CENTER] [/CENTER] Other Netsuite websites seem to get indexed by Bing(even if they don't do well in Google) but I have two websites using different templates and I cannot seem…

Bing is even worse. Bing has indexed 1/2 the number of pages that Google has indexed. It is very frustrating.

I get the stats every day and add them to a spreadsheet and draw the graph from there. I am prety obsessed with it. The figures today are: Pages in site : 4461 Indexed : 294 Very depressing. I know that if we were fully indexed we would get 10x the amount of business from the net.The only business I get right now is PPC…

You have left me behind somewhat. Please can you explain the term "canonicalization" I have seen it talked about here before what does this mean?
-
It's a Netsuite generated sitemap and yes I have told Google about it in Webmaster tools. [CENTER] [/CENTER]
-
George are you using standard Netsuite templates or do you have a custom website?
-
Does this mean that now we are on 2010.1 we can make duplicate pages without any fear of penalisation now?
-
Just to prove a point, you can see from the image that the verification files exists on my site and it is exactly as requested.
