i think i got it figured out. This is due to the fact that the sales order is not fully billed yet. When it is billed in a future period, the deferred revenue amount will be increased, therefore in the current period, the deferred revenue balance does not equal the remaining amount on the revenue plans.

For the new standalone invoices, I plan to use different item, like a generic one "Billing Correction", and check the box for Direct Revenue Posting, so it does not go through ARM. Correct, the client prefers not to edit the existing invoice once it's been sent out.

ya, it might have been done via a scripted workflow, which is beyond my knowledge. No, we don't have access to that resource. It's done by their previous consulting firm.

Actually, you are right, the dates were there when the actual rev plan was created, and later was removed. I don't know why it was done, but is there any way to put the dates back to the revenue elements?

The forecast start and end date is already mapped. The issue is there is no date on the revenue arrangement. But somehow actual revenue plans are generated with the right dates. I'm asking how can I do the same with forecast plans.

Thank you for pointing that out. It was actually updated by a workflow. So I created a test workflow to include both the actual plan and forecast plan, and was able to remove the hold for both at the same time. Thanks for your help, that was brilliant!

That is odd, i assumed when you place an actual plan on hold, the forecast plan will follow that. But i just test a new sales order, put actual plan on hold, and forecast plan does not change (just shows "not started"). So I actually don't know how the forecast plan shows on hold for those transactions.

I see. Upon checking, yes, the internal ID is 1, and per SuiteAnswer, it's a system limitation. I'm good then. I was able to make it inactive. Thanks for looking into it.

I am using the admin role, and there's no transaction for AL, as we are still configuring their NetSuite, no transaction has been created. When you do the test, can you first set the company information to state A, and later try to change it to state B? See if you can delete the Nexus for state A? thanks,
