Thank you as well @Patrick Fresnosa-Oracle . I do want to re-emphasize, I believe it is a problem that they show up. I am more interested in fixing the problem, than hiding it.
-
Thank you, Angela. It is helpful, but in reality, these accounts shouldn't be considered aging, so I was trying to figure out why they are showing that way,
-
It seems this was resolved after a few hours after I reported it, @Katerina Winklerova-Oracle. Seems to have been a NetSuite issue based on another thread I was in.
-
Fortunately, this seemed to resolve itself a few hours later on its own. Like @Stephen N , I got errors when going to the bank feed page and none of my bank connections were there, it was like they just disappeared... Glad to see it working again....will certainly report back if it fails again.
-
I also am seeing this error, but there is no log in the plug-in implementations screen. We have not changed any users or roles and I am the admin, also getting the same error this morning out of the blue.
-
I also started getting this error this morning:
-
I appreciate the help, but this isn't really what I was looking for. I am more focused on a transaction not able to post to certain departments (users are irrelevant). I am thinking more on Journal Entries and Invoices.
-
I am seeing the same issue. Yes, you can change the sign, but it's not helpful when you use a formula column to see the variance. A positive variance is good for revenue, but bad for expenses. The expected behavior is that when you reverse the sign, it is only cosmetic and doesn't change the actual calculation for the…

@Micah Timbol-Oracle , I appreciate your support. What I did to "fix" this was to delete all of the assets and then re-import them. Once I did that (which is a pretty painless process), I had no issues with that error again.
-
Update: added FAM diagnostics to my dashboard and ran the Check Missing Summary action. This DID create the BG summaries that were missing. Then I ran the depreciation for all assets again and not everything posted, so I went through the FAM diagnostics again and then posted depreciation and no errors, however, things were…
-
No, they did not have any created. Total BG summary did not change.
-
@Micah Timbol-Oracle, I think I have also determined the assets that are able to depreciate have BG summary records, the others do not. So, back to my original question of how to get BG summary records created should do it.
-
After doing this, there were about half a dozen assets that did post depreciation. The only thing different about these assets was that the Asset Status was set to "Depreciating". All other assets were listed as "New". So, I TRIED updating all the assets to an Asset Status of "Depreciating" but the import errored out and…
-
It did not. The Reset Asset Values button does not show up. Here is the Asset record showing false: Here is the setup screen without a button available:
-
@Micah Timbol-Oracle , any updates you are able to provide?
-
@Micah Timbol-Oracle , all the errors were just referencing the the inactive depreciation expense code:
-
@Micah Timbol-Oracle , I appreciate the help. Unfortunately, I got stuck pretty quick. I was able to make the account code active again, no problem. I was able to change the depreciation active to False, but I didn't see any background process kick off in the FAM Status: I kept going and once I changed all the asset…
-
Good morning @Micah Timbol-Oracle . Yes, 1172 IS inactive and I want it to be. This was the old depreciation expense code that should no longer be used. No depreciation has been posted yet. I am still trying to get it all dialed in. I feel like there must be some records somewhere that are referencing the old expense code…
-
I'll also say that I ran the Checking Missing Summary in FAM diagnostics, but it errors out and says: "INVALID_FLD_VALUE: You have entered an Invalid Field Value 1172 for the following field: custrecord_summary_chargeacc" and 1172 is the internal ID for the OLD depreciation expense/charge code. I'm not sure where it is…
-
Thanks, @Micah Timbol-Oracle . I appreciate your help. This is still an open item for us and would love some help on a great solution.
-
Yes, it is enabled:
-
Whether or not it is a credit card account doesn't matter too much to me, I just want to be able to use the deposit feature to recon debits AND credits so I can then bank match the deposits with the bank. Right now, the deposit feature does not show credits. Here is an example with a journal entry: Notice there is both a…
-
Great post on this subject, however, you cannot use bank deposit when there are undeposited funds that are a credit. Anyone know how to fix?
-
Getting back into this, I am seeing the same problem. See screenshots. In the bank match screen, I want to see the line memo, but it is showing the header memo. If I remove the header memo, the memo field is then blank on the bank match.
-
What is a recommended work around? Change the classification of the code to something else? Any ideas?
-
Thank you for sharing this. My concern was with the bank reconcile screen. I think I have it figured out though, now. Thank you.
