Thank you Joahnna. I thought your comment re: the View dropdown for sublists was just for the item sublist, and now understand that is a limitation with all sublists.
-
Thank you Joahnna. Rather than using customer forms, which require users to edit the record and choose a different form to get a different view, can this be accomplished with a custom sublist put on a custom subtab? The only thing there that I am not sure how to do is to include a view dropdown selection with the sublist.

Thank you Michelle. While this won't be a common need, it's nice to know there is a way to handle it. Scott

Thank you so much Joy!! Now I'm a bit embarrassed. I was familiar with the Applying Transaction link that gets from a SO line to a PO line. What I missed was that there is also an Applied To Transaction link that can be used to get from a PO line to a SO line, and this provides exactly what is needed. Here are the result…

Thank you Joy. I should have been more clear with my follow-up question. While there is a link between the sales order and purchase order for Drop Shipped orders, what I am looking for is a link between the items on a purchase order and the items on the originating sales order. We would like to update the shipping status…
-
Thank you Elychelle. What about items that are drop shipped or special ordered? Are they handled differently?

OK. You can close the post.

Michelle, I'm sorry for the slow response. I was unexpectedly out until today. Out of curiosity, do you happen to know where in the database the information in the column you marked is held? Thank you, Scott
-
Thank you Michelle. I confirmed the duplicates "come back" if another company is added with the same domain. Do you have any idea what is happening behind the scenes to keep the companies out of Manage Customer Duplicates list until another company is added?
-
Michelle, The company names and addresses are different. This is repeatable. I just used Manage Customer Duplicates to mark two more companies as Not a Dup. After clicking on Submit Selected, a status page like below appears. Once the process is complete the companies no longer appear on the Manage Customer Duplicates page…

Michelle, Yes, the Show Duplicate warning checkbox is enabled This is happening for multiple roles. I'm the only one working through the duplicates at the moment, but didn't think this would be user dependent. Thank you, Scott

Even though we don't use subsidiaries, I checked that box anyway. However, that didn't change the behavior. The banner alert is still not displayed for either company and they don't appear in the possible duplicate list. It feels like there is something set on the company record or in a related table that is keeping the…

Here are all of the settings. I also confirmed that the domain had not been added to the list of excluded domains.
-
Thank you Michelle. I had two companies in a group and marked both as Not A Dup, thinking that is what you would is needed to keep both companies as is. After that, neither shows up in the list of possible dups and the banner alert does not appear for either company.

Thank you Patrick.

Thank you Patrick. I'm glad you were able to duplicate the situation I encountered. So is this behavior expected and is the recommended approach to reset a work task back to a summary (milestone) task changing the estimated work to zero? Or is there a better way to avoid this situation all together? Scott

Thank you so much Jack. That was quick!! Using nsformat_currency with record.amountpaid resolved the problem. Since record.discounttotal is also a currency field, it's somewhat confusing why it doesn't create an error when used without nsformat_currency or nsformat_rate. Thank you again! Scott

Thank you for researching the issue. Scott

Thank you Joahnna. I'm sorry for the delayed response but was OoO last Friday and yesterday. Here is a screenshot of the company (Prospect) record. Note that the only relationship is with a contact from another company. However, when I choose the Primary Contact field on an opportunity for the prospect, no contacts are…

Thank you Kristoffer!
-
Ahhh. Thank you Kristoffer. All of the saved searches I'm struggling with are from bundles. So the issue is not a function of who the owner is, but that the searches were packaged as a part of a bundle?
-
Jack, Thank you for the link to your earlier document. Sigh. Since Related Records is a standard sublist, it doesn't appear there is a way to customize the view except in those few situations where the customize button is displayed. Scott

Thank you Jack!

John, Hopefully a simple follow-up question. Is there any way to bulk update all existing address subrecords since creating the new custom address form and assigning it to applicable countries does not affect current address subrecords? Thank you. Scott
-
Thank you very much John. That was perfect.
-
Thank you for the follow-up Michelle. Since this is being used as a sublist on transactons, is the only way to get the sublist work correctly via SuiteScript? The saved search route can only achieve one level of reference, from Transaction to File. Since the owner is in the system notes, two levels of reference are needed,…
-
Michelle, The field name used in the saved search is File : Owner. However, the value in that field is the creator of the folder rather than the file. From the screeen shots above, the creator listed in System Notes of the file is Karen Toczek while the results in the saved search (File : Owner field) is me - Scott Searcy.
-
Michelle, I'm sorry for the delayed reply. I was out all last week. The value I am seeing is the File : Owner field in saved searches. Below is an example. I did not upload that file, but did create the folder that the file is stored in. Here's the information from the System Notes for the file. Thank you for your help.…

Thank you so much Jack. Both of those worked as you described. Is there a documentation resource that I should have looked at to find the same information? We may also decide to replicate the Edit link as well, but for now, the download and remove links were critical. Thanks again for such a speedy response! Scott
