Thanks Michoel, that seems to do the trick.

Hi Kirk, Thanks. I ended up having my developer call the workflow as you suggested. All documentation I found says it should work without doing that, so I'm still curious as to what's happening, but this will work for me here. Thanks.

Thanks Kirk, I was doing some additional testing and I noticed if I unchecked "Store Value" the workflow actually worked, it browsed back to my RA and populated the "Replacement SO" field, of course it lost the value once I clicked save as it wasn't set to store. Any insights as to why that would work, but the other way…

Thanks guys. I'm actually trying to do this at the main line though. No line level involved. On the SO I have an RA specified in a custom list/transaction field in the header. Upon save I want to go to that RA and stamp the SO in a transparent body field in the RA.

Thanks that works. I thought the Go To Record was only for existing records. thanks for clarifying.

Thanks Mark. That's what I thought was the case. I was wondering if I could use a go to record and launch another script or something more complicated like that. Thanks for the input.

Thanks for the information. [LIST] [*]Both the workflow itself & the action are set to "After Record Submit". [*]The custom record has a Free Form Text field that I'm trying to populate with the transaction #. (I've tried to do this with a List/Transaction field as well, but prefer to use the text field). [*]To set the…

Thanks Evan. I have. It seems even After Submit, still fires before there is a # assigned.

Hi Dmatyas, Thanks the {id} field correctly populates my workflow field I've created. The Go To Record action is still not working though. The workflow field is stored with the current transaction # Go to Record Action: After Record Submit (I'm assuming cancel button causes a submit) Event Type = Cancel Record Type = Sales…

Thanks. I'm seeing the information there. I'm stuck trying to figure out how to structure the report, and it may be that I'm not understanding completely how that calculation is done. What I want to do is produce a report/search that will help me set my pricing by seeing a what we call a "weighted cost". For us a "weighted…
