I'm getting this too after being upgraded to 2009.1 No address fields in my forms, but existing customers are having there addresses over-written by their name...
-
I don't think there is, which is why we use custom forms instead of the NS stock standard ones
-
Perhaps the only way is to not use duplicate detection and manually merge records. What a nightmare!
-
Yeah this is starting to p me. example. Existing customer default billing address Joe Bloggs 123 Fake St Sometown, VIC Australia fills in a form with no address field in that form. Existing customer default billing address becomes Joe Bloggs. The address isx not lost, but when viewing the customer record you have to go…

Did y'all get any response from NS on this issue? Of course not!
-
I just voted. How is this progressing?
-
Any chance of posting your results? Other people search these forums and posting the answer (of not too difficult) is a real help to the other users. You'll get a lot of extra help from others too!

I'd export all data to csv, change the custom field type then re-import
-
At least now in Google's Chrome browser you can click and drag to resize the fields.
-
ha ha! It's not...

Thanks for the reply Rob We use Netsuite eCommerce. I currently have 100 forms for each individual promocode. We have just changed our website design and I have just learned how to create custom forms rather than the default NS ones. Hence the need to upgrade them all. Promocode's were passing fine through the "redirect to…

I suppose you could customise the form and change the logo that appears at the top to something stand-out-ish. I just tried adding a custom element to the form that would use css to change various bits but no luck
-
We scrapped it. Wee just pass partner codes via promotional url now and that works.
-
Why not use 2 custom fields Date & Month?
-
Try testing in a different browser. It should work instantly. For some reason, the browser you use NS in doesn't recognise changes for a while...
-
Are you customising the Cart Page or the Related Items List?
-
Not sure about the spacing issue but you can increse the font size if that helps.
-
Yeah I'm lost... not really clear enough for me. Maybe someone else can make sense of it. Sorry.
-
perhaps you could explain how you are navigating to somewhere that says "({3} is replaced with the item list table)."

Setup-accounting- customize fulfillment e-mail. Do not confuse this with the order confirmation e-mails (from web orders). You always have to one-up me don't you... Just kidding. Great point. Didn't think of that!
-
To change forms go to SETUP>CUSTOMISATION>TRANSACTION FORMS To change what is printed and emailed go to SETUP>CUSTOMISATION>TRANSACTION FORMS>PDF LAYOUTS and to SETUP>CUSTOMISATION>TRANSACTION FORMS>HTML LAYOUTS Everything is changable!
-
Andy Have you set the image to be "available without download" ??? Wiz
-
I'd love to know if anyone has an answer for this post
-
That doesn't sound easy... gawd this system has flaws... I really don't understand why I can't display a value on a list that shows how many units sold within a date range - this is an accounting system too yeah?
-
Sounds interesting!
-
Did you ever figure this out?
-
Nope. This is nuts.
-
I can't believe how easy this is and how many vultures are circling!
