But of course it was not related to anything they did on the back-end.
-
In general, Netsuite needs to work on their implementation program - they can't make these changes overnight, in the middle of the business day, or even on the weekends, without prior knowledge and/or release notes. They will continue to do as they see fit... unfortunately.
-
Netsuite: One system. No coincidences...
-
Do you use multiple locations?
-
You could also use another inventory form that doesn't have a script on it too.
-
Couldn't you just set it up as an inventory item and give it free shipping and no tax? Or am I missing the complexity of this?
-
Or export your assemblies and re-import as inventory items. Sell out your assemblies and switch over as inventory allows it.
-
Setup > Aco****ing > Accounting Preferences > Items/Transactions > Sales/Pricing > Maximum # of Quantity-based Price Levels No swearing please Evan! Got an o and c back to front did we?
-
We don't use bins so I don't know if this would work, but could you just do a mass update or csv import?
-
We also found that castrating anyone that picks an order incorrectly has helped drop mis-picks by almost 1000%
-
We have hundreds of BOM's. I thought this was a terror threat, then I realised there was a B missing... Can you export all the bombs to a csv and then add the item(s) you need and re-import? Worth trying 1 or 2 before doing them all... just in case.
-
Yeah that works. Ties it all together - smarter.
-
Is there anything wrong with this? 1) Customer orders product ABC 2) Warehouse accidentally ships product DEF 3) Because the cost of returning the product DEF is more than the cost of the item we just tell the customer to keep it. 4) Create new order for incorrect item DEF at no charge. 5) Re-despach original order.

OK I'm there... what am I looking for?
-
On the history tab, take a look at the transactions subtab, you can customise the search that shows there, is that what your after? Nope - trying to get a custom search display on a tab.
-
Ha - must be a permissions thing. I don't have Setup->Customization->Sublist - only Setup->Customization->SubTAB. Thanks - I'll look into it.
-
Well you can put it on a subtab on a tab. You can't put it directly on an existing tab. Excellent! Now how... yes, I've read the help... not a help...
-
Or, rather than using custom fields, you could use a sublisted saved search to display it on the item record on a tab somewhere. Having trouble getting a saved search to show on an item record. Any pointers? Yes, I've read the help... Someone should write a help guide for the help guide.
-
Because you haven't received it...
-
Leaving it laying around is Mickey Mouse. - Miguel So true. I was wondering why in a certain report I use that I have "don't show zeros" checked yet products from years ago show up. It's because they have a $ value...
-
Leave your criteria empty (or don't show inactives or whatever) but on the results tab be sure to add "Last Quantity Available Change" which will show the last date (and time) when the quantity on hand changed. It won't specifically show you only Sales Order, Invoice or Cash Sale, but it will show you the last movement.
-
You can, but I think after editing the pricing at a later stage on the PO you need to edit the receipt and the bill
-
Precisely why we don't bill in advance of fulfill...

Good tip. .

Hi David I would suggest checking changes on another browser from the one you are using NS in - or even better, a different pc. Website changes don't update properly for a day or so in the same browser - no idea why. You should be able to 'mass-update' your matrix items so 1,000 or so won't require any long-winded…
-
Update on this: As a general note about matrix items, you cannot elect to not display a price, or not display on the website, for a valid subitem. Your only choice is to make it inactive. I have an enhancement request in #159963 suggesting that they find a different setting for a blank price field than the value $0.00. I…

That's a positive - thanks Evan Any word on a release date?
-
Ok ok... start again... This is where I would like a column showing "Average Sales" or "Sales last month" or similar to appear. Is this possible? I can't see anything to do with a "summary transaction search" when I click "Customise view" Thanks
-
Quite simply I would love to be able to show average sales over a period, ie average sales per week, month etc. OR show total sales for a given period, ie last week, this week, last month, last year etc. I would like to be able to show this in a custom list view, ie under the financial tab of a supplier, so when I go to do…

I want to show either: Average sales over a given period. OR Total sales for a given period. I want that data to appear as a column here: https://system.netsuite.com/core/media/media.nl?id=4953amp;c=92155&h=bee3ec28cc93f02a4cf1 I hope that is clear.
