Next up will be the fully customizable shopping experience including very fast faceted search, as well as a fully customizable My Account/Customer Center. Is faced search going to be for everyone or only those that have paid to move their store into the ignite platform? As time goes on we will attempt to allow more point…

"SSP apps" are new, but they look like they require a programmer to figure out. The main free improvement that I'll use (specific to ecom) is the one-page-checkout (a NS designed demo "SSP app"). The NS help for 2012.1 release says "This feature is targeted to be available in March 2012". T
-
Yes, one page checkout = BETA. You are also correct about Ignite. "huge update" = very few ecom enhancements for non-ignite users. No faceted search. The other answer you might get is "Technically it is possible, but not currently supported..." meaning you can do it yourself from scratch which is no fun and your results…

"the longer term" < v2011.1 expanding < replacing status quo = grumble grumble
-
It was the D.I.Y. solution that was more susceptible to breaking... not 3rd party (although both are more breakable than a NS maintained solution). The cost of ignite is high, but we can deal with it. The cost to switch an existing NS store over to ignite was more that we care to spend. T PS: There are magento alternatives…

scriptable checkout + no script writer = <null>

Everyone could also just vote for a NeSuite provided full integration with magneto (or any other best of class ecommerce site) as a means to fix this problem. T

dfcowell, You mention "back in 2007...". The user group changed platforms not long before 07 our else you'd see much older unresolved requests. I just looked at our open NS support cases and they go back to 04, but to be fair ... the ones that are still really relevant don't start until 2005. T PS: NS, I would close some…

Is there a way to set the column widths for the links that are in the body of the "my account" tab? -T
-
Hello, You may go to Set Up > User/Roles > Manage Roles > Edit the *custom* Customer Center > Permissions Tab > Transactions > Sales Order Level = None. You may edit the other transactions listed and set the level to none for those you dont want to show in the customer center. Help Guide: Customizing the Customer Center…

Well, don't forget that it also took a year+ to get GCO added as a feature in the first place. So, they come in way behind the curve and then it doesn't work to boot. This is why we shut it off in our account. We've got a number of issues that all match this same M.O.. T
-
Today a customer called and said "why do you only offer UPS ground". After a minute I realized he was in Google checkout. So, why is UPS ground the only method showing in Google checkout? I believe that all methods were previously available. Is this a new glitch with the GCO/NetSuite integration? -Tom
-
To be fair, it could be that GCO just wasn't designed in a way that is compatible with NetSuite. If so, then that should probably be communicated to us by NetSuite. Most of our other NS issues however are not dependent upon 3rd party services ...like the "enhanced checkout" with all of its issues. T
-
we do get an error every time an order is passed, although it does seem to pass correctly Does someone have the defect number for the constant Google Checkout emails stating "order notification failing"? Thanks, Tom
-
Also, is there a way to hide the "HELP" link displayed to the right of our customer's name? -Tom
-
BUMP. This Google Checkout shipping flaw (prioritized as S1) persists!!
-
This issue requires a general improvement on how addresses are classified as business or residential in the NS web store Will it finally be possible to give our customers access to the "business or residential" field?
-
We turned off GCO about a week after my previous post. We didn't seem to loose any sales, so we are keeping it off. There have been bugs in the NetSuite/GCO integration since day one ..so we gave up. Add it to the list of features that we asked for and yet we keep turned off in our account.
-
Never mind. Defect #190187 - GCO: Getting a persistent Error code 500 even after processing GCO order successfully prioritized as an S3 I'm wondering if it would be helpful to just set up a rule in my email to forward all google "order notification failing" emails directly to the NS case # 190187.
-
The bigger issue (for us) is Defect #192823. Prioritized as an S1. GCO: Shipping methods displayed on the Google Checkout Cart does not computer the real-time rate and displays the value of the Default shipping Method assigned to the shipping items. That one is causing us way more issues as we have to call each customer…

I was hoping this would be the greatly anticipated NS breakthrough that covered a large number of missing ecommerce features (without paying for the services of additional NS partners). Like, real product image names with .gif and .jpg extensions so we can be found by "google image search" ...or a cart that can suggest…

e had three new vulnerabilities that came up overnight. 1. Name = SSL Weak Cipher Suites Supported Description = The remote host supports the use of SSL ciphers that offer either weak encryption or no encryption at all. Note: This is considerably easier to exploit if the attacker is on the same physical network. 2. Name =…

You're doing it the right way, but "the right way" gives the wrong results in NetSuite. There is a long thread about this elsewhere in the UG. I've never heard anything about NS fixing the issue and the issue (and the enhancement request to fix it) has existed for years. T

Are you saying that your browser can somehow force NetSuite to serve up an image that it doesn't server to any other browsers? I can't see how that would be possible. We use macs so I don't think CTRL+F5 will do anything. Like I said, we have a function in FireFox that forces the browser to erase anything it has downloaded…
-
NetSuite responded by saying... I checked on this, the steps given to you which did not work is only a workaround that worked for some customers. Caching is happening on the backend which we have no control at the moment. Also, Found this in Google's online help for Chrome. Ctrl+F5 or Shift+F5 "Reloads your current page,…

Your NS account may be on a dedicated server which might make your image cache update quicker. It can be nothing browser related. What you're suggesting would be like me saying my brand of cable box can get the next episode of "the office" before it is actually broadcasted. Like I said, maybe someone else (Like Mark or…
-
Not what he said. He said he was on a faster server than I am on.
-
How could the browser have anything to do with it? I'm missing something or else you're not getting the issue. All browsers (that I've used) will upload the image to NS within seconds. I can even browse to the item in the NS back-end after uploading (while not in edit mode) and see the new image ..thus confirming that it…

Is there a way to make NetSuite STOP defaulting the shipping method to the first method used (per customer). We've got the default set to UPS ground for the webstore orders, but it still defaults to the method used on each customer's first order. -Tom
