I'm trying to import a price list. NetSuite shows this message.. You entered "CPL-3" into a field where a numeric value was expected. Please go back and change this value to a number. The "CPL-3" is the second item's part number. Is it choking on the "-"? Is there a workaround?

We use a customized packing slip form. Two visual solutions would be like this... Bicycle X ... x1 Steering Wheel ... x1 Frame x1 Wheel x2 See how the kit components above are inset? Or, this would also work... Bicycle X ... x1 ...Steering Wheel ... x1 ...Frame x1 ...Wheel x2

We do use a CDN. We use Cloudflare. We are on SiteBuilder. I did make a NS case. It didn't really give us a great plan for reducing server response times..
-
We consistently get 2100 to 2400 ms server response times. Google says it should be < 200ms
-
So we were down for 8 hours and NetSuite didn't log the outage? or, Pingdom is reporting fake statistics? I will say that it says we were down from roughly 2pm to 10pm on Saturday. We typically get a dozen orders in that time period (through our WebStore) and this past Saturday during that time period... we got zero orders…

The web store has also be super slow. Look at that 2365 ms response time. some general rules about server response time that I found online: Quicker than 100ms is excellent. 100–200ms is good. Google PageSpeed Insights recommends keeping your SRT under 200ms. 200ms–1 second is acceptable, but there’s room for improvement.…

It is a glitch with Avalara. It is a NS field that can't be mass updated that specifies the tax item in each customer record. We caught most of them with exports/imports... but only updated customers from the past 5 years. So, when a very old customer orders and the tax item isn't set to AvaTax... it causes this error with…

I also made a support case with NetSuite
-
I didn't have an issue with signatures in "Email button from Communication > Messages" This was about replies to open support cases. Our signature isn't included in those communications when they're emailed to our customer.

Our Field Type drop does not contain "System". -Tom

I found a fix. We had a very old email template for these system generated emails and it used ${salesorder.overviewTable} to get the order contents. It had a system note as part of the template's name and it said something like "Automatically migrated..." and a checkbox in the template also indicated "AUTOMATICALLY…

We use a Custom Sales Order form. Is the issue in the UI? <- No, it is not in the UI. It is in the HTML order summary email that is auto-sent right after they customer completes their order. It is coming from the email template for "order received". The HTML for that email template has... ${salesorder.overviewTable} which…

The password feature is now works with some tweaking. So, the only change I'm missing is how to make it show these results on a page with no header or footer or anything at all except for the search results.
-
I can publish a saved search to our web site and put it in a hidden folder. Here is the new issue. I can't password protect it. I used the audience tab on the search and follow everything HERE and I can’t get it to work. It shows the searches if I turn on "display in web site"... but it shows them to anyone with the link.…

Yes, that's the one.

We had it in this format... 123XYZ : 123RED , but the import still fails. Error: Invalid Item Row
-
I'm having trouble with this. If your item has name/numbers like this: Parent Name/Number = 123XYZ and children of that item are like: 123XYZ : 123RED 123XYZ : 123BLUE 123XYZ : 123GREEN Would we have the name field as : 123XYZ : 123RED or as 123RED for the first item?

Scriptable Cart and Checkout are on. A warning for anyone considering avalara, their support people are NOT good. We're having trouble and getting ZERO resolution. Even worse, they've got some super glib/grumpy/condescending support people that simply ignore your questions or tell you to find the answer on your own in…

Yes, we're back up. Please see the setting posted above.

Can you confirm if the tax is only being changed once the Sales Order is edited then saved -- or if the change happens as soon as the Sales Order is created in the NetSuite backend? Additionally, will the tax also change when you edit a Sales Order then click on Cancel to avoid saving it? This will help us identify if the…

Is SCRIPTABLE CART AND CHECKOUT enabled? No, Should it turn it on? Here are images of our store settings...
-
We use reference checkout 2.0.5 in SiteBuilder. I think we're on the newest version of reference Checkout and I understand it's based on SuiteCommerce. I'd check my settings in NetSuite, but I can't log into netSuite right now. Our web store works, so we're not completely down.. but the back office is broken at the moment.
-
Avalara did the Avalara integration. They just installed the bundle and that was about it.
-
You've given me hope! Thank you Micah

The second one that you just posted is a second issue. Issue #1 = No tax displayed in the WebStore until AFTER the customer finishes their WebStore Order. Issue #2 = It uses our home tax rate in the WebStore and then changes it to the tax rate for their delivery address when we edit the order in the NS back-office..
-
Hmm, that didn't work. Any other ideas? Try what you suggested against 10 matching records and each record has multiple line items. It only shows the quantity of the first line item. -Tom PS: UPDATE: What worked was what is shown above, but with one major difference. Turn off mainline = true
-
The trick: Go to the custom field that is missing from mass updates and click "apply to forms", then select all your item forms!
-
type = free-form text store value = yes applied to = INVENTORY ITEM, NON-INVENTORY ITEM, SERVICE, OTHER CHARGE, GROUP, KIT/PACKAGE and ASSEMBLY/BILL OF MATERIALS
