Yes I connected with Support, but unfortunetely they also keep on stating that it is expected behaviour but not able to answer that why this account is not eligible for elimination in same manner as for IR and IP account as at the end it is Intercompany clearing account and suppose to eliminate

Even you check or uncheck Elimination box for Intercompany Clearing Account, it is never eligible for Elimination. This is same NetSuite support is claiming.

In our scenario, this is an Intercompany Clearing account. As we know, intercompany allocation does not work with IR and IP accounts, so we have to use the clearing account instead. Now, since there is a balance on this account in each subsidiary, we need to eliminate it. The question is: how does the business typically…

So our query 1 is that do we need to create Multiple lines for each entities means level 1 to level 2 followed by level 2 to level 3 and then level 3 to 4 or we can directly create journal entry for Level 1 to level 4 and in this case how the elimination works. Also if anybody has the template then please share
