This makes sense however this would impact all domains rather than just the domain I edited, I believe. I ended up creating an extension, which can be deployed on a per-domain basis.

@Theo Cruz-Oracle thank you - could you please link me to the feature so that I can vote on it? I ended up creating and deploying an extension to hide the credit card site.
