I figured out the solution! I had to create a new Reconciliation Rule that ignores the lead prefix, and now everything is automatically matching.

We are using the J.P. Morgan plug-in to process payments. NetSuite support thinks it's an issue with the plug-in, so I have scheduled a help session with them.
