Yes i have searched these tables and the fields i want don't exist. Except I have worked out that the currencyRate.lastmodifedby field can sort of be used to get CURRENCYRATE_PROVIDER_ID and yes the field name lastmodifedby does have that typo on netsetuite2.com, lol.

Yes the account I'm using has the List > Currency permission. As an admin i can't see a Setup > Currency permission.
