Yes we sell assembly items. ditto - they work on the website.

Thanks sterlingr, Tell me more about your site? How many products? What are the issues in the segmentation. We have a lot of products and some people are wondering if it would be better to be on a different platform. I'm thinking to will be too much work and manpower... Love to hear your troubles. Also - why the switch…

Thank you...this is very helpful.

The main question is that if the BEST integration with Volusion will outperform the NetSuite multi-site add-on in terms of value and features. I couldn't agree more. In fact - that is the big "conversation" we have here...my problem is most people want to migrate to magento. Which - I totally understand is awesome,…

hey farrago - I'm not a huge farapp fan...it just seems like they are a little behind. We're working on a solution to mirror our product database in the middle. Then, for feeds and related items and such we could use our middleware. Just where we are currently headed.

Just found this post - I have posted my story on another Google Trusted Stores pst - if anyone is interested in joining... https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?t=30547&page=2&highlight=Google

Hey farrago - we did it like this: <div id="addToCartHTML-31066" class="addToCartHTML" style="display:none"> <table class="addToCartTable" id="addToCartTable-31066" style="display:none"> <!-- table crap --> </table> </div> I think we solved it by wrapping it in a <div>. We also add the NetSuite id to the id of the HTML…

Any thoughts on this dterra?

Wow - after that "interesting" introduction...I finally able to get to ecomm around 0:36:27. SuiteCommerce at 0:47:38. What I saw in that demo was exactly what I see in Netsuite products. They promise a whole lot of awesome, then - when it comes down to it...it fails. Right at about an hour (1:00:00)

A subdomain is technically a totally different website...I'm not sure I understand the issue? We have blogs on wordpress with no issues: http://uscargocontrol.com http://blog.uscargocontrol.com What am I missing?
-
Thanks for the reply dterra...but you've demonstrated the exact problem NetSuite has with its customers...you are not connecting with us. You are hearing us - but not listening to us. Let me show you: [LIST] [*]dterra: "The good thing I get from this thread is that we are all aligned in terms of direction." - I'm not sure…

You're gonna find jQuery is your new best friend Trevor_Heyworth - good luck, its quite "fun".
-
OK dterra - I'm a reasonable guy...but a little frustration is going to "seep" out here. "Because NetSuite is a Single a system to run your entire business and commerce, I think that you have to look at other features also, like Single Use Coupon Code, ability to Import WebSite Categories via CSV, and the associated items…

I would think you could create a hard coded table with values - then use jquery to "collect" the items - then add them all to the cart at once. Here is a post which will help add multiple items to the cart. https://usergroup.netsuite.com/users/showthread.php?t=382&highlight=add+multiple+items+cart Will that work?

What if you map it using the ugly NS url in your HEAD section? <link rel="shortcut icon" href="https://system.netsuite.com/core/media/media.nl?id=xxxamp;c=xxxxx&h=3cfa14a0c03f745614df&_xt=.ico" type="image/x-icon"> <link rel="icon"…

Can I ask what host you are using and what DNS method you are using to redirect. Cheers, Peter We use GoDaddy for DNS and rackspace cloud for the blog.
-
Hi, I believe you will need to create an 'A' record from the DNS settings to an IP address of bluehost server where you have installed the wordpress. Technically speaking this has nothing to do with the store hosted on NS , or any other platform, the DNS record creation is independent. Thanks abhi 100% correct - these have…

I see your bid and will raise you...we bought the freaking custom domain, installed it (which is no easy feat in its own), got the feed working, installed the code - had the entire process working... - wait for it - until checkout, then the cart cannot do what Google needs to do because we don't have access to do what…

Good 'ol Netsuite simply changes it - it is up to you to handle the repercussions. So, you'll need to enter a 301 redirect for each page within /recreation/ and point it to the /adventure/ cat. You can find those under Setup -> Web Site -> Redirects I think they have recently implemented the ability to import 301's with a…

I would recommend getting a great SEO/PPC person. Netsuite is just like any other platform...it has its good and bad, but it gets the job done. If you have an SEO person who cannot work with Netsuite - the problem is either with the knowledge the SEO person has or your expectations.

I use Chrome and it seems to "warn" me, but allow me to continue. If all else fails - disable javascript. This will allow you access, but will generally also remove many of the fields in editable text boxes. Good luck.
-
Yes - a link to the site would help, so we can see what you have going.
-
You can set it up in Google Analytics. Go to your site analytics page, then you need to go to the little sprocket in the right corner. Then, from the Profile tab, click Profile Settings and you will see "Site Search Settings" - you want to track site settings. The query parameter is "search". This should do it. tom

If you want it on the shopping cart page - I would look at jquery. But, are you sure you are not wanting to add a bit of javascript to the checkout confirmation page? That would be after the transaction is complete. Like, using Google Analytics for transactions.
-
You can checkout what we did on http://www.spacesavers.com - we made a transition page which gives people the option of going to cart or to keep shopping. It has helped out conversion rate. Please steal it, if you wish. tom

Are you using the new netsuite official method? Their method is at: https://system.netsuite.com/help/helpcenter/en_US/PDF/WebSite.pdf page 356 Here is an article I created today to walk through Netsuite Google Analytics integration.

No problem Joyce - let me know if you need help.

Hi, we want to start using PayPal Express however we sell weapons which are against PayPals terms. We currently use the standard PayPal method and have a script that checks the checkout page for these items and hides the PayPal option if it finds some. We need this same method to work but on the cart page and hide the…

I have some code here you can look at: google analytics and netsuite Good luck - it is a bit tedious. :)

Here is a shot from our analytics...is this what you mean? We have these working...
