One quick question, for any of the Actions that require a condition, I can assume the triggering client field is also 'Parent'? These instructions were very helpful. I'm not sure what view that is in your screen shot. Mine looks completely different, but I think I was able to duplicate your parameters. testing now.

Custom Field. I'll give this a try. thanks
-
worked perfectly! thank you so much

This doesn't seem to solve the problem of notifying the next person when the predecessor task is marked complete. I am trying to do the following Ex: Task 1: Assignee-Joe Status: In Progress Task 2: Assignee-Dave Status: Not Started Task 1 is a predecessor to Task 2. When Joe marks the status complete, Dave is notified to…
-
Can you provide clarification on "Recipient field = next assignee" in your search recommendation? It is not a specific person, it would be based on whomever the assignee is. Is there an alternative way to notify a user when any project task with a predecessor is marked complete?
-
Sorry about that! Project task

I have all this criteria met. but when displaying 'Yearly' in the trend graph it goes back to 2012. We didn't start using the Netsuite until 2020. In order to set a date range in the search, it has to reside in the Criteria, which violates your first rule above.
-
Any data modifications in the search used to create the KPI prevents it from being used in this graph. I was unable to get this to work.
-
This shows the same result as the previous formula provided because it appears to be the same formula. I'm just trying to capture the last record for each quote. The formula you provided only shows the last quote with a record, not a list of quotes with their last record shown
-
Attached are the screenshots

I am trying to create a transaction-based search (Type: estimate/quote) showing the last communication message (email record) and the date it was sent. From there I can compare Date Created to last date sent. I plan on using this to setup activities/alerts through workflows.
-
Understood. I apologize for the confusion. I was trying to show the last record sent per line item. I was able to use the Maximum function on the message date to show that value.
-
Running this formula only displays a single quote record, not the last record of all quotes?
-
Switching to an Item based search made this problem solveable
-
I switched these to Formula Numeric and was able to solve the total of all the line items. Thanks for looking into this.
-
I think there may be some confusion about what I am trying to accomplish. In my original image, I want to show the sum of all the values in each column. That would be reported at the end column. Can that be accomplished with a formula?
-
I am unable to do that because it is a Formula (Text) field. Wouldn't that also I would not be able to see all the individual rows then if I used the SUM? Here is the backend search data for clarity
-
The Main Line: True doesn't work because it makes the commission field blank. I have attached a before and after image
-
Thats it. I just had a simple thing out of place in the formula. Thanks again!
-
this is simple and perfect! I've been trying to clean up Project based searches like this for years. Thanks!
-
I don't think that is getting me what I need. When using the Transaction: Amount, it creates a duplicate line item for each, or a line item for each item on the transaction plus a line for the total. Using the Summary Type 'Sum' doesn't report them properly or if using Show Totals, the total sum is doubled. Just trying to…
-
I am trying to avoid the Sum/Group function to prevent grouped lines. Is that still a possibility?
-
There is an image labeled FD2 in the original request if that helps? That is the item fulfillment record, with the date field highlighted.
-
Thanks for the response. I don't think that is correct. The two dates on my packing slip are inverted. The 4/20/22 should be where the 5/23/22 dates are.
-
Perfect!
-
Confirmed. Thanks for the continued support!
-
This is where I am having an issue. The Triggering Field and Field (mandatory check box) are blank and there are no options. I suspect it is because the driving record is a project template?
-
? Is this the wrong response to a question?
-
See attached image for the change I am trying to have take place. Enter Specific user Based on that user name, Status changes Bonus..Date changes to current date I don't have the actual workflow anymore, it was deleted in frustration...
-
Thanks for the response. I was trying to point to a specific document that is pertinent to the form it is on. I like the Document Field, I was just hoping it would be more granular to control what folder to point them to. we have hundreds.
