Thanks, @Miguel Ariza - Sol4IT, I did try that route, but for what I'm trying to accomplish it requires so many cases that I exceed the formula character limit. Being able to generate and pass the weekday string would shrink the formula by a lot.

Thanks, Dominica, I was able to achieve what I needed to (assign a lot # to a purchase order line item in CSV import) by mapping to the field Receipt Inventory Number rather than Serial/Lot Number. Perhaps enhancement 230133 refers to sales orders imports, instead?

Thank you for looking into this, Ivy. I appreciate your help. By adapting your suggestion and then building some relatively advanced logic in my Advanced PDF and scripts that are using the Saved Search, I was able to generate labels and reports that include the unassigned quantities from the partially-assigned lines.

Hello, everyone, I'm Alex with Food Connects, based in southern Vermont. We're a local/regional foods distributor in the middle of our Netsuite + SuiteCommerce implementation.
