Extremely slow at times for us today as well. Seems to come and go. For a 10 minute period, it'll be like molasses with 30 - 45 second page loads, sometimes they just don't load at all. Then all of a sudden it seems to work fine
-
EDIT: nevermind - this time it looks like it was a network issue
-
We're at a standstill, with a majority of page loads resulting in timeouts and SO's piling up rapidly. People are flippin their $#!+ Any ETA on when they can safely resume would be greatly appreciated

I concur 100%!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Need better documentation on what allows what. I've spent the last 2 hours trying to give our inventory guy the ability to edit Item Fulfillments, but can't seem to figure it out. He has FULL permissions on Transactions>Fulfill Sales Orders, but no edit button appears on the fulfillment page...…
-
Finally found it.... in case anybody else is about to put their head through a window over the same issue, the ability to Edit a Fulfillment is dependant on the Ship Items permission.

Could anyone confirm or deny whether these bin related issues have been fixed? We are about to implement the use of bins within our warehouse, as well as adding a slew of items that will be dropshipped, and I've just been doing a ton of reading here on the usergroup about the various issues people have had with bin…

After submitting the new page, try wearing a rubber glove on your head and run 3 circles around your office building while repeatedly shouting "hallelujia" (for larger buildings, one lap may suffice). (although I usually just skip all this and try a browser I haven't opened that day, or go to someone else's computer and…

Have you tried a CSV import? I know you can change the item price using this method - sounds like you do a flat rate shipping charge (?) - not sure if that can be imported but very possible
-
That's hilarious. Sounds like a support rep with a grudge against the product (or maybe against the dev team) -

We got a call today from a customer who received an email invoice, and pointed out that the address was wrong. When he gave our sales-assistant the correct address, she actually remembered typing it in right (was distinct). Still trying to figure out why that would have just "changed", and at what point... Add to all this,…

EDIT: (I've also updated the case with this information) After a lot more testing, I may have found a common trigger to this issue - it seems to almost always happen after attempting to add a KIT that has a member item which is considered out of stock (our inventory numbers are a bit off, so this happens - we're working on…
-
We're trying that now. Hadn't thought of that... thanks Will update thread if there's any improvement (good to see you posting again ray)

Thanks Ken - Case Number: 687830 I tried my best to describe the issue - and provided links to screenshots The tricky part is that it is TOTALLY unpredictable. Sometimes it works just fine, maybe even for several sales orders in a row - then all of a sudden it just starts doing it again. I did manage to take a screenshot…

Nope - it's doing the same thing in Safari. These poor gals are already way overloaded, and this is just slowing them down like crazy...
-
Well, that was sarcasm... but I guess actually filing a case works too. At least it only took them 40 minutes to tell us that it would be delayed by two hours, so practically no time was wasted. (that's more sarcasm in case it's still not clear)

I've only been with NS for a short time, but I'm starting to get fairly concerned over the frequency and lack of any sort of official resolution to these "outages". They address the "big ones", but the little ones seem to just happen, and when they're over people say Yay and move on. ???? Have I simply been spoiled by…

Please file a case with support and they'll attach your case to the issue. Scheduled release target for scheduled webinar: Q1 2008

Yep. Very slow loading, pages timing out, everything else loading up like lightning  --edit--now it suddenly seems to be a bit better, pages are actually loading at least, but there was a hefty portion of this afternoon where I seemed to be getting nothing but timeouts on category/item pages.
-
Happening again for anyone else? I've been gettin sporadic timeouts and slowness again this afternoon.
-
I've been working with item record imports, and just noticed a similar "system note" that claims that I unset UPC Code on a couple hundred items.... None of the imports I did had anything to do with UPC code, and that field was never selected in any way in the import mapping... So it certainly had no reason to "unset" them…

BUMP - I'd like to re-open this thread, because this height=85 thing is driving me nuts I've tried the solution you posted here DJ, but it doesn't seem to have any effect on removing this forced category height. Any clarification would be greatly appreciated
-
perfect clarification. makes sense to me
-
Makes sense to me. Much clearer I agree that the UG shouldn't be a replacement for support... but your poor support folks seem pretty overwhelmed already, so providing this forum as a self-service source of quick answers can only help ease their load (and maybe even reduce on-hold wait times??? :D ). Personally, I can't…

Good point. The area that starts to get fuzzy is where you add "or any type of outside communication such as e-mail or phone". So a year from now, if I see that someone has mentioned having already devised a script to accomplish something I'm after - even if the context of what they are saying is simply to point out that…

Just submit a support case, and make the subject line something like "Vote for Enhancement 12345" In the body of the case, you might paste in the enhancement description or title, to help ensure they add your vote to the right enhancement. That's how I've done it at least, and I believe that's the only real way to vote at…

I just noticed that the thread "So... Is Anybody Happy" has been completely deleted as well. Not sure why, it was all just level-headed pros and cons, no talk of specific pricing numbers, like they explicitly forbid Funny thing about that of course, is that it had been up since November, had an enormous number of views…

Sorry to hear the last couple posts went negative... But why not just remove the last few posts? From a newbie's perspective, I've got to say that this Usergroup can be incredibly daunting - just browsing through the boards slaps you in the face with how many problems people are having... something you don't hear from the…

EDIT: Nevermind - the bonfire has too much wood already.

...we will be encouraging people to file detailed cases online, to which you will receive a return call from the appropriate rep. Obviously the better the detail, the better chance we can route it to the right rep. This is already my method of choice. Much more efficient use of time for both parties. I definitely feel for…
