and something more...your safest and most consistent mapping will be using the Internal ID of the vendor in question. When I starting ignoring names and used IDs my success rate went through the roof.

Hi Tim I just heard the same information from my Account Manager. I've asked for some documentation.
-
Poof. There it is. The former occupant of this seat must have selected it
-
Its only saved until you resave another over it. Make sure you have the correct (meaning same) dates
-
just to be clear. this isnt our network. we can acess everything else including our sandbox but cannot login to netsuite

Hello NetSuite HJMkreminski makes a valid point. This glitch is a pretty big deal and since its the absence of a function it can take a bit to notice. We had a manual process that highlighted this gap today otherwise our customers flooding the phone lines would have been our first warning. Is there a better way NetSuite…

I just added myself to this list. My support manager noticed it minutes ago

Limits are the standard 50 and 100 in my preferences. there are only 1300 searches in the account. I have another account doing fine with 2000 searches. Any other suggestions?

NetSuite filed a Defect
-
The items are created manually in the UI with no issue but even after manually configuring the accounts in the mapping (even those not required) I still get the error. Its a Test Drive account for Development. It could be days before the SDN network responds to a support inquiry
-
I filed a SDN suport request. In this instance there isnt another form. I went to so far as to turn off the available to promise feature but no change. Non Inventory for Sale items import without issue. Unfortunately my test cases usually revolve around tue inventory item functionality. Thanks
-
strangely i get the desired results when i do it that way. Might be a configuration difference between our accounts
-
Do a search of Items. Pull in the Expense / Cogs from the available options as a result column. Check for your desired results.

is Division something you have customized? Are you meaning subsidiary? If you want most of those fields to default go to the Create New link on your customer record and select the type of transaction you want to use. Most of the fields will default from the customer in question. Most of this is basic NetSuite Records…
-
Generally they advise to export the details to CSV and import as a new record (duplicate data).
-
Fran Great news I guess. Most of the jurisdictions in the US evaluate the liability based on revenue of the sale. You may have to force a workaround or this one
-
I think it may be calculating correctly. Your obligation for sales tax collection is on revenue not cash.

Karl and Stephanie both have it right. Create your signature in the Set preferences section. The logo is like any other HTML component and it has to be a link. The file will be the logo file in your account (you should be able to find that). Make sure the logo file is Marked Available Without Login (this way you dont have…

This may sound silly as this isn't my specialty but I recall settings for this in NetSuite to allow these data elements. Are you sure the settings are right?

Have either of you tested the user preference to see only last Subitem or SubEntity?

Purchase a third party solution and integrate its output to NetSuite for posting and payment
-
To be honest I cant recommend any since I have no first hand experience...you could ask some users in this channel as they have plenty of opinions to go around: http://netsuiteprofessionals.com/wp-login.php?action=slack-invitation

You are on the right path. You dont need a subsidiary to have a nexus. You can use international tax reports bundle to get the tax codes once you create a nexus for the desired country. While NetSuite will provide your client the rates from the tax codes it will take some knowledge to properly use them. The person handling…

Hey...NetSuite doesnt handle this out of the box...but you can purchase products from Partners who have developed integrations to Tax Services. I work for one of these companies. Lookup http://suiteapp.com/ONESOURCE-Indirect-Tax-Integration-for-NetSuite?fragment=/ONESOURCE-Indirect-Tax-Integration-for-NetSuite

Hey srosso . I have worked with an expert in this arena before who could share his experiences. Find Andrew Bevins owner https://switchboardinteractive.com/

This is an old post but I'll try to guide you... CA_CA is the Tax Code used for California but no Zip Code is Found. CA_SAN DIEGO CO is the Tax Group used for San Diego County. It too has Zip Codes related the County identified to allow for lookup CA_SAN DIEGO CO_EMBD is a Tax Group which contains the same Tax Codes and…

My former employer used Class for Products and Departments for Departments. While standard Implementation techniques involve modifications to the Locations record I dont advise it as it is involved in Inventory and stores address related information you may need later even if not relevent to your business now. I've found…

Hello, NetSuite does have its own product but its pretty limited. As soon as you need the taxable basis to differ from state to state it fails. The rate tables are from a third party that require you to manage your downloads etc. There are a few third party products that handle this all with their own hiccups. Some dont…

The easy answer is a unique subsidiary for the new customers / items. Employees at the parent level will have access to both. You could segregate the new company employees to exist only in that new sub which could lock them into seeing and utilizing only that part of NetSuite. There are lots to consider depending your…
