Yes, if I understand things correctly. I did a similar thing for power reviews using my linux hosting and a php web services integration to download their review content from the ftp server and put it into custom item fields so the content would be search engine friendly.

If you mean the packages that are under setup > accounting > shipping, i don't believe that record can be accessed with suitescript. You might need to set up a separate custom record to set up the packages then pull the details into the item record.

Yes, although you'd probably want to keep the records synchronized, if you're using the accounting packages functionality for fulfillment. Custom records are accessible everywhere - searches, workflows, scripts, etc. It's a shame so many built-in records are unavailable.

Here's a hugely frustrating thing for me. When my user event script runs and makes changes to say a lead record, the system notes: 1. Ignore any changes to sublists like addresses, they aren't in the log at all 2. Any changes made by a script are actually recorded as made by the currently logged in user. Also, the…

There are a bunch of fields on site builder category records that can't be accessed with a script or search, and the entire record isn't in the record browser. It sure would be nice if we could.

There are many versions of SCA out there now, and everyone who implemented it is now stuck on that version, or be forced to pay a lot to upgrade to the latest version (which means starting from scratch with the new version and testing/fixing every customization and reverse engineering the undocumented changes to the code…

In my opinion, it's not a real platform if there's no upgrade path. There are what, 10 versions of SCA now and every single company using it is trapped on that version unless they invest heavily in rebuilding their customizations in the new version (I've heard some very expensive quotes). Sometimes a customization might…

It seems like the kind of function that should happen on the back end... Maybe a user event script that runs on create, and disables access if it finds the right value in the custom field? It might also be good to email the user through the script to let them know their access is pending.

There's a suiteanswer just for that: [h=1]Add a Custom Dropdown Selection on the Registration Form of Reference Checkout[/h] Published 02/18/2015 02:23 PM | Updated 12/14/2015 11:45 AM | Answer Id: 41617

One of the most important aspects of migrating to a new website platform is preserving your URLs, so you don't lose organic traffic. Depending on your settings, it might not be possible to match the URLs with SCA. In that case, you will lose some organic rankings, and the only workaround is to create a ton of redirects.…

In site builder, only the content chosen on the matrix parent item should show up. That should be where to choose the image that will display.

Are there any videos for this release? I found the Denali videos pretty helpful.

I vaguely recall a similar issue with reference my account… I think it had to do with the custom form that the sales orders were using. You might try playing around with the form attached to the missing sales orders and see if it shows up when you use a standard form.

The old forum was superior to the new one in every way.

I never get an email from this forum after the upgrade. I have tried playing with the notification settings. This forum would be 10 times better if you simply went back to the old one.

SCA is the most expensive and troublesome option for responsive available. There are a lot of very basic features that are completely missing and have to be custom-built, like category pages. It has no content management features at all really, and does pretty poorly in a direct comparison to other much cheaper platforms…

Sure: [LIST] [*]There is no content management [*]Site category pages don't exist, and have to be custom built & coded [*]Writing analytics modules is time consuming and requires a lot of expertise [*]When making changes to a SCA site, it can take 30 minutes to clear the site cache and actually see the changes [*]No…
