Are you trying to just post a link to a downloadable document as I have done here under the support tab: http://www.satcomresources.com/Comtech-Radyne-DMD-50-Universal-Satellite-Modem?sc=1&category=-101 If so, all we have done here is created two Custom Item Fields of type "Free-Form Text" one that contains the label and…

You can do this by creating custom centers and then creating transaction processes specific to customers. You do this by clicking on setup >> Setup website, and then under the shopping tab, you are going to set the sales order Type under checkout preferences to "Per Customer Basis".... from there under the specific…

Lists > Relationships > Groups > New Then create dynamic group based off of a saved search.

You could just use the email button in the top nav bar, and then click under attachments "Include Transaction" and select inline html as an option. Then it will include the html version of the transcation form in the email. Let me know if you would like me to send you an example of how we are using it.

The best approach I have found for this is not to use the online lead form but ot use cases and then the activities are logged in sequence under the customer record. Otherwise you are going to have to create all kinds of custom records and scripts and have to worry about future compatability with other releases. Using…

My problem is exactly as you mentioned, I get the email address of the company and not the contact that is associated with the company. From my research thus far, I cannot seem to get the contact information. What I would like to do is this: Have a company called Acme Corp, with an email of info@acme.com. A contact of Acme…

Sorry for the redundancy..... see post below.

I am working on a similar solution to this now. I have this working not in full but in part so perhaps someone can help me with the part that I am not getting to. BACKGROUND: On our website we only list "list" prices and hence we want our customers to contact us with a price request. When we get the request, we wanted the…

We have done this previously with departments. Most of it worked, but occassionally there were certain transactions where we could not change the location and that caused minor discrepancies in the reporting, but nonetheless this was very useful in viewing the profitability of each department. Furthermore, you can select…

We are integrating with one via EDI. Pretty straightforward.

How much time have you spent really looking into the Netsuite Sales Force Automation paradigm? Once you get it, you will find it is really pretty powerful and quite a tool. Now that I understand it really well, I do not think that I could live without it and it helps me to not let customers drop through the cracks exactly…

I am not in love with the Netsuite support portal for a knowledge base. I do like the case management, but the whole presentation of the knowledgebase and management is just kind of cumbersome. We are playing around with tenderapp. I think that is really eloquently done for a support portal. It has a knowledgebase, and…

I created a transaction search called estimate performance by sales rep. While this is useful, it is also not since now you are gauging performance simply on a person sending out estimates, or recognizing opportunities. While that is great, I am of the opinion that what I want to see is people moving these opportunities…

Create a custom field to hold the information that you are looking to hold and then map that field in your CVS import. Since 2008.2, you can map to these custom fields in the CVS import.
-
View the source and check the style sheet for a hint in the right direction.

I am in the middle of deploying it and could not be more pleased. I think the platform is extremely easy to use and very flexible. You can have it up and running out of the box in a few hours.
-
I am using it. It works great. Highly reccommend it.

We have had good luck with the E-Commerce platform lately. Since the update, it appears to be working better.
-
I think wordpress is a good example of how a templating system could work.
-
You can use tag substitution to do this. 1.) Create a tag called "left" 2.) In that tag you could place <NLPORTLETCONTENTS> 3.) In your theme, for the left side navigation template call your tag "<LEFT>" 4.) In your website content manager, on the checkout tab substitute the tag <LEFT> with a null field. That may not be…

We have the same problem.

I have used Celigo quite extensively. I am planning on implementing this, and I think these guys are a great value for what they charge. I could not reccomend Celigo highly enough. Contact Jan...jan.arendtsz@celigo.com and tell him I sent you please.

You will want to be careful what you move there and what you do not. Certain files still need to live at Netsuite so that you do not throw a security warning in the checkout that certain items on the page are secure and others are not. Hence, things like your style sheets, and core graphics need to remain in Netsuite, or…

We are using Velaro. I am intrigued to try the Livezilla application.

You may want to explore using csv imports to manage your products. As far as applying the cost plus formula, that could be done with scripting.
-
Most of the time this would be located in your website root. However if you have not generated it, then it would be logical that it is not there. To generate your sitemap or find out more information on how to do so, I would reccomend going to the help section in Netsuite, and searching on "Sitemap" and then click on the…

Contact Jan at Celigo.... they have it fully integrated.... http://www.celigo.com

OK, so that is setting up a website. You are just not doing anything in that website other than a customer center.

Our site has been doing well. Since we switched to Netsuite, we have enjoyed more eCommerce sales than every before. Netsuite is not perfect by any means, but it is closer than anything that I have found yet, and we are pleased with it. We are constantly working on Google, and I too reccomend their online tools: Merchant…

From the Manual : "An information item is a way of communicating with your customers. Information items can include news articles about your company, pictures, graphics, and more." Just search "Information Item" in the help section. Before you dive into item creation, I would reccommend that you read the section on "Item…
